I stay at the Comfort Inn hotel in Galveston on the Seawall. The room was very nice. I charged $100 for smoking on the balcony. The story has changed everyday since Friday. The GM has not been there since I called on Saturday morning. The lady that worked the front desk Saturday morning was rude. I know for a fact that we didn’t smoke in the room is because I work at a choice hotel and smoking is not allowed. I was also told if we did smoke on the balcony. The smoke came through the a/c. But yet I’m smoking outside. Then today I was told the smoke was in the hallway. I will never stay in this hotel again.

I I would not recommend staying at Choice Hotels I recently stayed at one of their Hotels in Batavia New York paid $150 for the night supposed to have had an indoor heated water park for the kids but was far from that water was ice cold kids wouldn't get in it Wi-Fi didn't work in my room got moved three times ended up in a room with the people next door with a barking dog all night contacted them about a refund have not heard anything back Choice Hotels put some points on my account but not enough to book a room a waste of money and the customer service from these people are trash I want my money back not points why would I want to go stay at another one of your garbage hotels

Hotel Canceled my reservation at the last minute. I made the reservation at the airport hotel location one month ago. Today I was to stay at the hotel. They phoned me at 9:am saying they canceled the reservation because they do not rent to locals, anyone within 40 miles of the hotel. No apology, no refund, just a cancelation. They had 30 days to discover my location. And what sort of policy is it that locals can't use the facility? I will never stay at a Choice Hotel again.I waited for 45 minutes on the customer support line with no answer.

I stay in hotels over 200 days per year. Choice used to be my preferred group. Sadly, over the last two or three years the entire group has gone way downhill. Whether it’s econo lodge or comfort inn or the dreaded woodspring suites....all Choice brands have gone to absolute trash. Customer service is completely lacking at every level. Properties becoming very run down, filthy rooms with shoddy fixtures and furnishings not to mention the rampant false advertising and bait and switch tactics used by franchisees. I’m so over Choice and their substandard hotels. I’m switching to IHG

General Manager did not care that our air wasn't working, our room was filled with noxious fumes from their remodel, and our room wasn't cleaned. I asked for bedding to be changed on the 4th night, and they left dirty sheets on the bed. Toothpaste on the walls, and worst of all, the General Manager Damien Brimhall didn't seem to care that his hotel issues put a damper on our entire vacation.

Hotel in Dudley is really grotty, its outdated furniture, smelly, dirty, not very good quality food, and very expensive drinks

Avoid choice hotels like the plague. You might get the plague staying at their FILTHY hotels. overflowed toilets. And their solution? Bring a plunger and tell YOU to fix it! They upped the price from the reserved price. Sent me into an occupied room. When I complained they said, "well, come back and stay with us another time!!!" They spam your email account - don't give them your address. Horrible place. Horrible. I'll sleep in my car before going to another Choice Outhouse.

I am one of Choice Hotels Diamond members yet, Choice Hotels (Privileges)doesn't respond to complaints about poor service at some of thier hotels.
