Made a reservation at Cleveland Ohio comfort inn. Was told there would be parking for truck with 20' trailer when making the reservation. There was NOWHERE to park so could not stay. They refused to cancel the reservation. Will never use Choice Hotels again!

I participated in the promotion for booking 2 nights to redeem a $50 Amazon Gift Card. I actually booked more than 4 nights during my cross country road trip. I never received the $50 Amazon Gift Card. The first time I called was a few weeks after the redemption. The customer service rep told me it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the card to the delivered. I called back today after more than 6 weeks, the new customer service rep told me the redemption department told him the card was delivered within a week of the redemption and the $50 Amazon Gift Card has already been redeemed and was not able to provide a tracking number for the mail. I told him that was impossible since nobody can steal my mail. My mail slot goes directly into my house. He said there was nothing more he can do. I ended the call telling him they just lost a big customer to their Choice Hotels chain due to this SCAM!!!

They charged me double for a room. I stayed there May 2021 at $107 per night. I went out of town on in Aug 2021 and was quoted the same price. The jerk who took the registration ask how many people. One...me. He then said you will have one king bed. Fine. I verified the charge at the hotel location. Upon receiving charge card statement it was double for two nights! They are trying to give me points instead of my money back. Stating they cannot credit my account!!! Yes they can! I'm contacting the CEO. I won't stop and let them keep my money! DO NOT USE CHOICE HOTELS. Rooms aren't even worth what they charge little lone double!

Choice Hotel mainstay in Auburn Hills completely awful. The facility was absolutely filthy, the second floor stunk of the stench of marijuana 24/7 including in the evening with the haze of marijuana. The hallways were all Filthy and unvacuumed. We are giving a room that not only wasn't clean the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes there was hair in the sink there's toenail clippings around the garbage can the counters had been not been wiped off and obviously the hotel did not sanitize the room. We never saw housekeeping when we were there. The hotel staff was somewhere around the corner behind the desk in another room. I saw Hotel staff, women on two separate occasions that was it. One was when I ask for extra towels and the person seemed annoyed and put out. When she brought out the towels, put on a fake smile and acted Pleasant. Nobody watched the front door anybody could come and go as they wanted. And contact in the hotel manager Matt McCullough he's absolutely and holy unconcerned with the unsanitary conditions of the hotel. When asked for a refund he blamed us for the conditions of the hotel that we should have checked out or told the staff, whom, was well aware of these conditions after we had spent the day at a memorial for a family member. The memorial was for my friend who died of covid and we got to stay in the unsanitized room. Matt's more worried about saving money and putting his fists up two customers who have complained I received zero empathy, sympathy or otherwise from him. Do not let your employees stay here do not use this hotel for your business. Your employees will be at risk. It's really pretty bad.

My husband stayed at Quality Inn, Boonville, Missouri. Charges were added to our credit card after he prepaid and had checked out. The only reason given was that prepayment must not have covered all the charges?! No reason as to why it would not have covered all the charges. So why allow people to prepay? And if customer satisfaction matters, why would you not explain the reason for the extra charges! No offer of a refund, even though the person on the phone did not even understand why it happened.

I booked three rooms and find out after check out that i only get my diamond status points on one room. It seems that choice finds ways constantly to screw people out of points and not to mention the pos hotel that i am staying in at Suffolk , Va. worst staff ever and will not run the ac. Its 91 degrees in the building and have complained for the past six months that i have been here! Time to find a new hotel chain. I choose choice because the points were better but the properties are getting worse each stay and the points are getting worse!! I can’t even call choice and complain because they barely speak English!! Had enough!!!

Terrible customer service, im a big spender when it comes to choice i spend thousands because my company is on the tosd every night so sometimes we stay at hotels for a month or so I've for the most part had a great time dealing with choice but recently the customer service has declined. I'm having issues dealing with my points activity i call support only to be treated as if I'm trying to get free points I only want what I earned im in a hotel every night using choice and as a diamond member i have no one to go to if im wronged by a representative with a grudge because they don't want to do there job and most are nice but with the notes left on account by the previous representative they don't help. I've had points removed from my account manually I have no idea who's doing it but for the last month I've received 19000 points thats with a promotion and I've been in a hotel over 30 days now I've received my account and before my points were working fine but I had an issue with a Terrible customer service representative and my points have not been posted to my account I've waited the 72 hrs and still nothing I have stays that say I've stayed 2 nights but a zero points earned by it and I can't contact Noone I call the diamond line I believe im being deferred to a different department because its not the diamond line i remember i have rude representatives telling me there supervisors and I know more than them i need a full review into my account with a real department most departments are people working for customer support so how do u expect a grief to be respected this needs to change a higher up department needs to get involved member number mxm452315 phone number 832 687 3441 Marcus Markham

This is the most disgusting hotel I ever stayed at. The Roadway inn. In Galveston Texas, We paid 400.00 for 2 nights . Our bed was very damp. And our first room was just recently bombed for bed bugs and the bed was not made ,just a nasty dirty mattress and the first room stunk so bad. Second room No lock on our door, I had to program our TV and NO TELEPHONE!!! Our room looks like some one kicked in the hotel room door a few times. Very scary place for 400.00 for 2 nights. Then on the phone the customer service representative transferred my call to a guy trying get another 200.00 for a time share property after I repeatedly said I'm not interested and started asking personal questions and why I couldn't to commit to a situation like that. should have stayed at a rest stop. I gave them one star for having decent hot water. But we did get out of that rat hole didn't stay the full 2 nights and went to the DoubleTree and was was was wonderful. Sincerely Lynn blowers
