This was the far more the WORST HOTEL that I ever stayed in and was attacked by bed bugs. The hotel doesn’t clean the room and there no security on the spores even though the hotel have cameras. The
Staff let people play loud music and noise at night. There no linen exchange unless you go to the front desk in which the staff are washing linens and you change the bed yourself.
Showering was also a problem that you either had scolding water or ice cold water to wash. The staff informed that they will look into it. No one never arrived.
Also, the door to the hallway was always locked due to the card error in which the hotel didn’t want to exchange and had to tell the front desk Six Times that the security door and room card didn’t work.
The refrigerator makes noise during the night and the staff doesn’t want to be bothered. I’m a serviceman and I have more wounds from the bites that when I served in combat. Choice Hotels informed me that they offered me a free night at one of their hotels. My body has already suffered a lot of bites.
Avoid this hotel from Choice Hotel.com and any under their business unless you want to stay at a place were the mattresses have bed bug residents.
Also the breakfast is horrible especially the coffee. Don’t stay there, please!

We booked a park and fly package for…Quality Inn & Suites 5585 Ambler Drive, Mississauga, ON
We booked a park and fly package for January 12-27 2023 as we had an early morning flight and didn't want to drive through a snow storm at 2am.
Returning home we called for the shuttle to be told 2 minutes but was abruptly cut off while trying to confirm pickup location. After 10 minutes we phoned again to be told it was going to be a 40 minute wait in the cold.
When we finally got picked up and arrived back at the hotel to pick our car up they were putting new signs up all over with regards to parking is at your own risk.
We got to our car to discover that the catalytic converter had been cut and stolen!!
We went back into the hotel to speak to the manager who was away from her desk and would be with us in a few minutes, while waiting my husband called the police to log the crime while I arranged to get a tow back to Tillsonburg at a cost of $700. Having seen no sign of the manager I again inquired, she was sitting in her office and hadn't even bothered to come and speak to us. They could NOT have been less interested that this happened on their property if they tried, as they showed no interest or concern I can only assume this is a regular occurrence hence the new signs. DO NOT PARK HERE...

I wish I could pick zero stars
I wish I could pick zero stars. I have been trying to have customer service reach out for over a week - I was put to 6 different people ( who talked so fast I had no idea what they were even saying. They failed to mention what I purchased was in US funds (I live in Canada) - The rate they told me on the phone was over 100$ more charged to my credit card. The rate they told me for the hotel 189$ it is now 227$. I have been emailing for days. I will never in my life stay at a choice hotel after all this, which is unfortunate as the staff that work at the hotels are always lovely. I know I will never get my money back - so I am writing this so that nobody else gets scammed as I was.

Rodeway Inn and Suites Jentzen Beach
Rodeway Inn and Suites Jentzen Beach, Portland Oregon. On January 3, 2023, my family and I checked in to the Roadway Inn and Suites in Jantzen Beach Portland, Oregon for a 4-night stay while my husband attended to business in the area. The Rodeway Inn and Suites is a member of the Choice hotel chain and I have always been a massive fan of them. On the second day of our stay, my children (2 and 1) were asleep and I was waiting on my husband to come in from work when I heard the door to our room open and hit the security latch. I jumped up to let in who I thought was my husband only there was nobody on the other side of the door. I immediately eased the door shut and looked out the peephole. A second or two later a short curly haired female security guard comes peeking her head around the corner and stands there for a minute squinting at the room number plaque and then looking down at a piece of paper in her hand. She does this several times and leans forward as if listening for movement in the room. Then turns around and walks down the hall. I text my husband, immediately, telling him about this. Why would independent contractors that work for Rodeway have master key access to the rooms? The woman didn’t even knock and announce herself. They are not employees of Choice hotels.
Saturday morning comes around and I am sitting there drinking coffee waiting on the rest of my family to wake up. There is a heavy knock at the door followed by a male voice saying “security”. I open the door and there are two security guards who are telling me about some handheld device they have detecting particulates of smoke from underneath our door. I am seven months pregnant, a non-smoker, and have two small children. We do not smoke in our house or anywhere else like that. And certainly would not violate the policies of the hotel. I like getting the security deposit back. Not to mention smoke rises. The hotel room would have had to be completely filled with smoke for it to be coming under the door. When I opened the door to speak with the security guards a cloud of smoke should have rolled out on top of them. We have smelled marijuana smoke and cigarette smoke on several occasions and even down by the front desk. I wake my husband up and he comes to the door telling them they have it wrong, but they refuse to listen. The security guards tell us we have to leave. My husband just shuts the door and goes about his morning routine. A few minutes later there is another knock and it is the two security guards along with a female employee of Choice Hotels. They are being incredibly ugly treating us as if we are lying criminals or, were in jail. Their tone was extremely rude and condescending. The female informs us we have 45 minutes to vacate or, she will call the police. And, they would be keeping the monies we had already paid for the room.
I begin getting all of our stuff together and the monumental task of getting myself and the kids ready to leave. I am moving a bag up by the door to the hallway and go to turn around and my heel sinks down onto an exposed tack strip by the door. My husband, alarmed, comes to see what is wrong with me and inspects the tack strip and cannot believe the shape it is in there is a spot where the only thing left of the carpet is the backing. Not only is the rusty dirty nasty tack strip exposed but whoever had initially put the tack strip in place had left about a quarter of an inch of the nails sticking up as well. It would have been well known to the staff at the Rodeway Inn because this tack strip would have snatched on any vacuum cleaner that was used and it was obviously vacuumed ALOT because it was frayed badly. I am very very upset by this point and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. I finish packing up our things in tears.. We had just finished and loaded up the luggage cart when the two security guards and the actual manager show up apologizing and thanking us for our patience with them, telling us we don’t have to leave. The hotel staff had placed a tow sticker on our vehicle, as well, even though they did not give us a renewed parking pass. I ended up having to go have a tetanus shot but, thankfully our babies had not stepped on the tack strip as well. We called choice hotels to voice our displeasure to them and they offered us 8,000 choice points (equivalent to $45 USD) for all the trouble and tried to upsell us a 4-day vacation package somewhere. What was once one of my favorite hotel chains quickly fell into one of my most disliked. What a shame.

COCKROACHES!!
COCKROACHES!!! I recently stayed at this hotel location over the weekend and ended up finding dead cockroaches in my room. After questioning whether the fridge was plugged in (wasn't cold), I pulled the cabinet back to find multiple dead cockroaches on what looked to be an insect trap. As a matter of course, I was given another room to stay in but had to move all my stuff late into the night. Once I had the chance to talk with the manager (Teri), she did not seem surprised but my findings and explained how she believed this problem was caused by the Nashville waterfront. Choice Hotel claims its policy and mission statement is to provide clean rooms for all its guests. However, my findings of cockroaches are the one thing any hotel does not want its guests to experience. It was evident management knew of the infestation problem by setting up these traps in the first place. Regardless of the excuse provided by management, the insect traps should have been checked and replaced before the room was made available for guests. My room was located on the ground level, so it's not far off to say other rooms have similar characteristics. I am extremely disgusted with this hotel location and the way management handled my situation. This location should be shut down and reevaluated for cockroach infestation. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Ripped off expected to be a psychic time traveler in order to cancel
I made a reservation for what was supposed to be a pet friendly hotel. Not even 15 mins after getting the details and noticed no pets aloud I immediately tried to cancel. They except me to cancel the reservation three days before I even made the reservation. Like I can time travel . I would never recommend this app . It just tried to rip me off now I have to cancel my card so I am not charged for this crap . Do not use this app. Priceline is better

Miserable stay
If you are disabled and need handicap accommodations, do not choose a Choice Hotel. We booked a handicap accessible suite with a king bed and roll in shower. There was only one in the hotel and it was being renovated. No call to tell us prior to visit. Because no other rooms had the roll in shower my husband couldn't shower during our stay. He uses a mobility scooter (unable to walk) and the room they put us in was too small for him to maneuver easily. Literally no room to move around. We paid in points and Choice refused to refund all our points. We are diamond members and won't stay with them again.
