My frustration is with the Pre-Order wait times. For Jody it was 4 months. I've ordered merchandise from both China and the U.K. that I've received in less than a month. Also on some of the stock photos it does not show the name of the wig colour the model is wearing (example Envy's Marsha) I love the colour but what is it? I do want to give a shout out to the customer reps who are wonderful whenever I've had a couple of questions.

Slow to ship and website does not adequately reflect in stock vs backorder items.

I ordered the Amore 'Farren' wig. I like everything about this wig except the knots on the lace front are too dark - I'm probably going to have to cut bangs to hide the knots which is not the style I wanted. The delivery has also been very slow. I've ordered 2 wigs and it's taken about a month to receive each. The first one did not indicate when I ordered it that it would be on 'pre-order' and the 2nd one didn't tell me until the end of ordering it. Typically, when we order a wig we are anticipating wearing it soon and sometimes for a special event or vacation so the long delivery time is disappointing. It seems like a company should keep wigs in stock to keep customers happy.

I tried a different style because I liked the colour choice and I shouldn’t have. It’s ok, but I’ve had to spend a good deal of time getting the crown and bangs to lay flat. They were sticking out like giant, 360 degree rooster tails. I regret not returning it and now I can’t because I trimmed the bangs a tiny bit. I’m staying with my favourite from now on. I’ve been ordering Ellen Wille wigs for years and this is the first one I’ve been disappointed with.

I am new to wearing quality wigs. The Jackson x 2 that I received in the colour that suits me (Champagne-R) is wonderful. I love it, thank you. But there is room to improve the shopping experience. To be fair its because I purchased Jackson in 2 other colours and had to wait for their arrival. Then I returned and ordered again. This process takes too long and I did not read about it first. Viewing online wig photos or a wig video review does not guarantee you will like the colour. There are too many variables that effect wig colour online. The Chiquel Oakville store is nice but could have salon like bright lighting, and carry ONE of every WIG that is sold by the Chiquel online store. Each supplier like Belle Tress, has their own colours so the real store should have all colours represented in those wigs (not each wig in every colour). Small swatch samples are not that useful. With modern day merchandising, you know which wigs sell the most in which colours so those are the ones you should have in store (at minimum). If the wig I want to try on is not available in the colour I want, atleast I can try the wig on, and see the colour I want in a different style, but in a real wig. Clients should be able to travel to the store and view the wig before ordering it to have confidence its right for you, style and colour. This is really important because the cycle time from order to delivery is 7-14 days or even months (for preorders). Hello, today we have Amazon Prime and even Costco, we are not used to these long wait times and equally long returns. With Chiquel, its like shopping in 1952 from the Sears Catalog. Surely this process can be improved with modern day practices. Chiquel has a phone service (identifies as "receptionist") and takes messages during normal business hours. What kind of business cant afford customer service during during business hours? You are informed that someone will call you back within 24 hours. Its possible they are cutting costs to give us lower prices which we appreciate. Going to the physical store takes me 3 hours each time but atleast I have that option living 100km away. In my experience with these Jackson wigs, it took 18 days till I got what I wanted. I bought it on May 7 and I didnt get it (in Champagne -R) until May 25. The process went faster because I went to the store in Oakville so the return was processed immediately. As long as you understand this, then you wont be disappointed with the cycle times involved. Customer service is very friendly and helpful. Returns accepted in original condition. Thank you Maria!

The product was as advertised. Packaged carefully and very nicely. I returned it, though, because I didn’t like the style and color on me. I was disappointed that there was no prepaid return label like many other companies do.

It takes quite a while for them to ship anything out. The color of the wig is NOTHING like the stock photo on the order web page. Gia is a cute style. First midlength wig I have ever tried. Easy to style.

I absolutely love Chiquel but unfortunately, with this order came a lot of confusion, and delayed, seperate deliveries. Even though this order took a long time (over a month), I will still continue to order from.Chiquel. The support people that I communicated with, were very supportive, and friendly.
