Was so excited to receive this product, it worked once and now just starts and stops not sucking any of the air out of the bag! Very disappointed

"Not built for the long haul. Bought my hand held unit in January; it no longer works properly now (May). Little-to-no- suction; poor seal. Did as troubleshooting advised, but saw no improvement. I would not recommend this item to anyone." To their credit, the folks at Chef Preserve responded immediately to my post. After rightfully confirming the details of my purchase, they issued me a replacement device. While the durability of the new device is yet untested, I can wholeheartedly recommend the company. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is exemplary. Thanks, CP.

I purchased Chef Preserve for its space-saving benefits since my countertop machine was big and bulky. I even placed an order for additional bags of every size since I buy in bulk and was going to break them down into meal sizes and freeze. I was disappointed to discover that I couldn’t seal anything that has any kind of potential juices what so ever. I tried to seal chicken breasts and the juices came through the vacuum. I dried it all very well with paper towel, but when I used the sealer again, it drew more juice out of the chicken and I had the same results. I worry about the juices that got sucked up and the potential for bacteria. The only way to seal meats is by freezing it beforehand, then sealing it before it starts to thaw. I tried it on vegetables and had the same problem with juicy veggies like cucumber or fruits like pineapples and others. The only items that seal well without problems was anything dry like uncooked beans and rice, or cereal. Anything cooked does not work well if it has any type of juices. I’ll have to get my counter top sealer back out to be able to seal my foods. Very disappointed. I contacted them and got no resolve.

Unacceptable business practices. I ordered bags, 2 weeks ago and have not received order confirmation. Had to email their customer service and still waiting for a response. The product itself is not that great. There are better alternatives for less money. Update: The company never responded. However, they now sent me , and charged me for 2 orders. Mind you I placed the second order because I received no confirmation of the first, so I thought it didn’t go through. Now I have a ton of bags that will last me a lifetime. Absolute lack of customer service Update #2: they contacted me and apologized. Said that confirmation emails were sent. Doubtful since I scanned all incoming emails even those marked SPAM. They did one thing right. They reimbursed me for the duplicate order. For that, I am revising from 1 start to 2

The website promises the bags are reusable but the bags really cannot be reused. After washing several bags and trying save peppers, the bags initially seal but in shot time the beads are no longer vacuum sealed. I double checked the seal several times with the same results. I contacted customer service and in order to talk to a “technician” had to pay$5.00 for the privilege. Ridiculous. Good idea but in practice fall short of the hype.

Customer service is bad, I ordered something i already have, so I needed to send it back, so they said they will send me a return label, I waited 3 days and decided to reach out to them, they emailed me back saying send them a video which make no sense to me because nothing was missing or broken, it was in the same bag and box it came in, why did they lead me on, just be honest and straight forward

I find the bags difficult to seal and once used and washed can't get them to close so haven't been able to reuse

Customer service is unresponsive. Sent 3 messages through their website and have not received any response. Unreliable.
