My husband and I have been using this product now at least over a month or two. It really is very easy to use and it comes with little white tab type things that you use to seal the bag before you use the vacuum sealer. If you're having trouble vacuum sealing the bag it is because you didn't use the white sealer correctly so there's a little air coming out of the top. Just use the white sealer again, and you should be all set. I love that I don't even need to hold it to use it. If what you are sealing up is on a flat surface which it should be, you turn it on, it'll vacuum seal the bag and shut off automatically. The size of the vacuum sealer itself takes up almost no space at all and will last 500 to 1,000 uses before you need to charge it with your USB charger included. Haven't had to charge it yet. We came up with quite the setup for storing the bags and drying the bags once we wash them. If we can attach pictures I will attach them to show you what we have purchased and what we are using to make this whole system works smoothly. Only thing I would caution, is not to buy a supply of the large bags until you see the sizes of the small and the medium when you get them. I think I jumped the gun by ordering the large with my initial order because I really only needed three or four of them so far, we really only need it for food storage. It comes with I believe 30. We did order additional small size bags because we were going through them and needing more. They are washable and reusable. They are thick and made well so I expect we will get lots of use of them before needing to replace some of them. Only time will tell. We are very pleased with this purchase and have already recommended it to friends and family.

I had a great experience with Chef Perserve. I use mine for all kinds of food items. Super easy and the bags are reusable. Easy to wash. Great customer service.

I absolutely love Chef Preserve! Years ago I had that clunky, heavy, useless food saver. It took hours. I dreaded using it. I only used it twice. Now it's collecting cob webs. Chef Preserve is small and it only takes literally minutes to process a lot of meat. I purchase meat once a month. I like the fact they have 3 bag sizes. I use it for other foods as well. I have granddaughters that love pasta, so when I have a lot leftover I freeze it in sections for a quick meal. Casseroles, fruit, especially lettuce and spinach. Air is the enemy of fresh food and causes spoilage. Chef Preserve takes all of the air out. One time a pound of sealed frozen hamburger was accidentally left on top of the freezer. We found it 3 days later. Shockingly the color of the meat was still red all the way through with barely a scent! I did toss it for safety. I am buying all of my adult kids one for their birthdays.

I just love the cost saving I am having since I bought my chef preserve unit.
