I have another food sealing equipment and the bags come in a roll which means you have to double seal them. It sometimes requires adjustment to get the bag lined up with the vacuum process. With the chef preserve system I have purchased both the glass Tupperware light containers and the Ziploc-like bags. You put the food in and either attach the lid for the containers or use the clip to tightly seal the bag, place the rechargeable vacuum pump on the container or bag and press the button. It is quick and easy. I purchase several items when they are on sale, for instance chicken, which usually come in four to eight pieces. I separate them and put them in the bag seal them and throw them in the freezer. What was a 30 minute process is now 5 to 10 minutes. I recommend the chef preserve system highly. I will say that you do not want to use this system, or any other vacuum sealing system, for bread, shredded cheese or liquids. The chef preserves system provides a good vacuum seal and much of the air of bread is removed which is not desirable. Shredded cheeses get squeezed together because the vacuum system removes all air.
