Chef Preserve operates exactly as advertised. We live in a rural area and freeze quite a bit to reduce trips to the supermarket and have prepped meals ready to heat. We used to use more "conventional" bags and containers for freezing and have seen a significant improvement in the quality of the fruit, vegetables, and meat when thawed. No freezer burn etc... I highly recommend it.

I got the chef preserve and LOVED it. I put my bags in the dishwasher as they were used for meat products. When I went to reuse them the seals wouldn’t work. I had to throw way all 10 of my bags. I reached out to the company over instagram DM. They got back to me and sent me replacement bags. Also gave me advice on best practice for cleaning them (top rack recommended) Their customer service was amazing and personal. I would recommend the product as 5 stars as well as the customer service!

I have had this for about a month. It is compact ,easy to use and like that it can be charged. The bags are strong and reusable. Have used it a number of times and have definitely extended shelf life of the food. Would recommend!

I love my chef preserve system. I admit I have owned over 5 of the traditional big systems so i only used it for packing after cooking 2turkeys and a ham at Thanksgiving. with CP I use it daily I recently bought 2 more systems for my adult children.

I love my chef preserve. I had a problem it wouldn't work. I made a contact with them they sent me 1 right out!! How nice it was. I didn't have to jump through hoops. No problem they sent me a new 1!! I love it I take it every where I go!! Thanks for standing behind your product!! Louise

I have a big, bulky vacuum sealer that was a pain to set up and use and took up a lot of space in my cabinet. I ordered the Chef Preserve vacuum sealer because of its small size. It is easy to store and I use it much more often than I ever did my large sealer. I used the sealer for several months and then it stopped working. Upon emailing the company, I quickly received a response and I was asked several questions about when and what I had used my Chef Preserve to seal. As I had sealed fresh hamburgers, I was informed that the burgers should have been partially frozen before sealing. Upon checking the sealer, I could see that there was beef liquid that had probably entered the motor housing and damaged it. Despite the fact that the unit stopped working because of my user error, Chef Preserve, replaced the unit and sent me an email for the Do's and Don'ts of vacuum sealing. I now put my meats in a bag without sealing it and then freeze them for an hour or so before vacuum sealing it. I was extremely impressed with the quickness of receiving the replacement and with how their customer service department kept in touch and took care of my issue. I would definitely recommend buying from this reputable company as I was very pleased with their customer service.

I just wanted to give my experience with both their products, and then the customer support service I had when I had a problem with a delivered product that was delivered to the wrong address. First off, their vacuum sealer I would give a 4.5/5 stars. The only downside is that you have to be careful of any liquid food products because it will suck up that juice and the suction motor is right there with nothing to protect it. This is a downside if you try to vacuum seal something like cooked chicken/salmon/etc.. To compare, Plateful has a little liquid container to help catch any that might come out, and that is something that Chef Preserve should look into for theirs. The bags and glass containers are wonderful. While the glass containers are expensive, and I wish they had more options for purchasing only 1 size rather than bulk of the variety sizes, I can't complain about how well they work for their task. It is nice to be able to not only compress products in the bags, it is nice to know that they are being prolonged with the shelf life. I have had no issues, and I actually bought more stuff because I love them! For customer support, this was a big deal for me and why I gave them a full 5 stars instead of lesser. I had an order delivered to the wrong address. I contacted customer support and quickly they got back in touch with me to find out details. They had me wait a few days to ensure the product wasn't brought back to me from someone in my apartment complex, but once I told them no one brought it back to me they were quick to get another order with the exact product ready for me to receive. This is the customer support that is willing to work with you, and is glad to help in your needs. Because of this I am looking into getting bundles for my friends and family to help support them. If you ever get Christine from their support, this is the one I had and was a wonderful time to work with.
