I found it very difficult to seal the bags, but it turns out I was not using the closer tab that comes with the bags. By the time I learned this from their customer service department (very nice), I had already thrown mine away. When I did get it to seal, it worked well and I got no freezer burn. 2026 06 11. Yesterday, a free replacement set arrived courtesy of the customer service department. I really couldn't ask for more than that!

A very compact, easy-to-use, and efficient machine in its function. Just put in your items and seal, 20 seconds later its vacuum sealed. It does what big bulky vacuum systems do in a compact design. Great purchase.

Chef Preserve is a company that keeps its promise to assist one in keeping food fresh. Using a compact, easy to use sealer that attaches to bag, one can vacuum seal bags with little effort. Cannot believe how easy it is to preserve meats, veggies and fruits. It even shuts off when bag is sealed. You have to try it!

Cooking for 2 has always been a bit of a challenge, however, with Chef Preserve it makes it so much easier and much more economical to split batches and freeze, it is fresh and no freezer burn occur. Celery taste day 1 fresh after weeks when using the Chef Preserve bags. Even my leftovers stay so much fresher in the glass container. I highly recommend Chef Preserve. I use mine daily.

This product is awesome. I had a vacuum sealer machine which was not sucking out air and bags expensive. The Chef Preserve honestly is amazing. Easy to use, can take with us when we travel as it's not bulky and fits in a drawer. The bags are reusable and my food stays fresh. 💯 recommend this product. Chef Preserve were easy to deal . I thought I’d give this product a try because I’d been wasting so much food to freezer burn. They shipped on time and I tried it out and lo and behold, this thing works!! I bought extra bags and now everything that goes in the freezer goes in with Chef Preserve. One of the best investments I’ve ever made. Highly recommended.
