I purchased a contract with Champion on my 2016 Tesla Model X a couple of months back. Recently, I started noticing it'd pull to the left when rounding corners. I bought it to a mechanic and was told the suspension was failing. I talked to customer service at Champion, who got in touch with the mechanic. They approved the total suspension replacement and paid the mechanic as soon as the repair was done. So grateful for their prompt responsiveness and for saving me a huge chunk of change on the repair!

Mercedes C Class Engine Failure
The engine on my Mercedes c class failed abruptly at about 70k miles. I almost got rear ended! I had it towed to the shop and turned out it was a piston crack and the entire engine needed to be replaced. Luckily I had purchased a Champion warranty in January, so I had the shop get in touch with them. Jack Taylor shipped them out a replacement engine and paid them for the full amount of the repair. He even reimbursed me for the tow bill. Paid out the claim promptly and customer service from these guys is on point! Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend
Great company. I bought a policy with them last year and based on my recent experience with their service I'm glad I did. My 7 series started having issues with the steering last week, so I took it in for service at my local BMW dealership. They told me the power steering hose had failed and needed to be replaced. I gave them Champion's contact info, they reached out to them and Champion authorized the full cost of repair, including the original manufacturer's replacement part. My car was back on the road in no time. I'm very grateful to Champion for their prompt responses as well as sparing me the considerable expense of the repair. I would definitely recommend them to every car owner out there.

Quick and easy claims process
So happy I went with these guys for my warranty on my Ram truck. Troy signed me up back in November and worked with me to come up with a monthly payment plan that would fit my budget. Recently, the truck started to grind and shake when shifting gears and making all sorts of bizarre clunking sounds. I freaked out and brought it into my local dealership here in San Diego CA, and gave them champion's number. My truck was back on the road in 2 days once the dealership finally finished the repair which was a transmission replacement. Champion paid the shop directly and I didn't pay anything out of pocket. Very glad I purchased from them, they came thru when I needed them and made the process quick and painless. Great customer service and the plan has already turned out to be a smart investment.

Very professional
I bought a policy from them 4 months back on my '07 RAV4. The car started constantly having a problem with low brake fluid no matter how many times I topped it up. Finally got around to taking it in for repair, turned out the master brake cylinder needed to be replaced. My shop sent an invoice to Champion, which they paid out the same day. Very professional company and customer service has been nothing but courteous whenever myself or the shop has called. Appreciate all their help and prompt service. These guys get 5 stars from me!

Paid for my brake booster replacement
I bought a plan w them back in January for my 2019 Honda Civic. Few months ago I started noticing there was something wrong with the brakes bc I started needing to push harder and harder on the pedal and the car would take longer and longer distance to stop. The problem got worse and worse until finally I couldn't ignore it anymore I took it into the shop. Thankfully I called up Champion and they said I could take it to any licensed mechanic which was super convenient. Michelle in customer service was very helpful and answered all my questions. So I took it to my local mechanic who I've used for years. He told me the car had a bad brake booster and apparently it's a common problem with Hondas from the past few years. He submitted the claim for brake booster replacement to Champion and they quicklyapproved it and paid my mechanic. I got my car back the next day after bringing it in and didn't pay a dime. Thanks to Champion for a fast and easy claims process I'll definitely be recommending them to any friends and family who need a warranty on their car

Champion Car warranty is a Sham!!!
Beware of this Sham company!!! They advertise that they work with all dealerships but when it comes to paying for the repairs under the warranty, they start giving all kinds of excuses. I have taken warranty with them for both my Porche 911 and Mercedez E350.When my rooftop for the convertible Porche 911 got stuck and was not working, I took it to the Porche dealer. They diagnosed that Hydraulic pump as well as the fluid line associated with the pump needs to be replaced. They gave a repair bill of $6600. Champion warranty is covering $400 of this bill saying that the Dealership is charging exhorbitant rate!!! They know this that Dealership will charge mark up on top when they sell the warranty but covering just $400 is outrageous. For my Mercedez, they have not even responded to the Dealership for 3 weeks now. I think they are a sham operation that is fleecing customers with their nice pitches. Beware!!!

Hi Vikas, we’re sorry to hear about your negative experience. We feel it is important to respond as we take customer satisfaction very seriously. You do indeed have 2 policies with us, one on your Mercedes-Benz E350 and one on your Porsche 911. You brought both vehicles in for repair simultaneously, to separate shops. Regarding your claim for the Mercedes-Benz E350, we have repeatedly asked your shop, MB of Escondido, to send us the final repair invoice so we could pay out the claim, but still have not received it. It is our company policy that we require a final invoice in order to remit payment to the shop with our corporate credit card. If we do not receive it, we cannot pay out the claim. We understand your frustration that your dealership is not delivering in a timely manner, but we cannot take responsibility for their oversight. Once we receive that final invoice from them, we can go ahead and pay out the claim. Regarding the claim on your Porsche 911 convertible, we did indeed authorize the claim for the repair and replacement of the hydraulic pump. The amount we authorized is for the market price of the OEM part, plus the labor hours quoted by the shop, at the rate quoted by Mitchell’s Labor Guide. The issue arising here is that your shop is charging about 10x markup on parts compared to the national market rate. As we have explained to both you and your mechanic, we are more than happy to ship out the OEM part for the hydraulic pump directly to your shop, in order to circumvent their price gouging. The rest of the claim is for items like the clips and fasteners of the convertible top, which are considered a cosmetic issue, and therefore are not a covered item under any vehicle service plan. Furthermore, it is very disturbing to hear your accusations that we are a “sham” company, considering we have paid out several claims for you in the past 10 months that you have been a customer with us, including for your maintenance vouchers and rim and tire coverage. Up until this point we have paid out all your claims, as the reputable company we are. There is no reason for you to term us a “sham” as we have over 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry and have tens of thousands of satisfied customers, of which you were one up until these recent issues outlined above. The fact that we have not received a final invoice for your Mercedes-Benz repair, and therefore cannot pay out the claim until we receive it from your MB dealership, does not make us a “sham.” It means we are a legitimate company that needs a final invoice to remit payment. Furthermore, the fact that we are trying to ship out an OEM part to circumvent the obvious price-gouging of your Porsche dealership, does not mean we are a “sham,” but rather that we are going the extra mile to get your vehicle fixed and back on the road. Lastly, no “sham” company would have paid out your multiple claims over the past 10 months for your routine maintenance as well as your rim and tire coverage.

CROOKS
CROOKS! Refused to pay back refund after cancellation. They also put a cap on tire & rim so called warranty. Only $100. Never put this in writing.I paid over $1000 for the policy, in FULL. I had to wait 1 month before filing a claim. I filed 1 month and 11 days later. Was told claim was legit. Then argued it was too early, yet was legal time warranted. It would cost over $1000 for a new wheel and over $250 to straighten it. Was told they'd send a check in 1 week. Never did. I called, they promised the following week. Never did. Called again, they said by Wed, the next week. Never did. I called again, saying now it will take a month. Stories with them keeps changing. I then cancelled in June. it's now September, and my policy money not refunded. I contacted my Credit Card and they're disputing it. Tricky Mgr. Ralph Wood argues then over talks. T promised to keep fighting and withholding my money. Con Artists to the max.

Mr. Mitchell, we’re sorry you had a negative experience, but we feel it is important to provide transparency on some of the issues you raised in your review. Firstly, the rim and tire voucher we sent you was an add-on to the warranty you purchased. On that voucher, it plainly stated a limit of $100 per occurrence for the rim and tire coverage. You went to your mechanic a week into your coverage because of a bent rim. Your mechanic charged you over $1000 just to straighten the rim, which is clearly an exorbitant amount and obvious price-gouging. Your claim was submitted, and despite the fact that it was only a week into your coverage, and obviously a pre-existing issue that predated your purchase of the policy, we nevertheless authorized the full amount of $100 per occurrence that you were entitled to under the rim and tire coverage plan. You were upset that we would not cover the full amount of over a thousand dollars, but rather than asking to cancel your policy for a refund, you immediately attempted a chargeback on your credit card for the full amount of the policy premium. After this, you would repeatedly call in harassing us for your $100 claim check. No company would ever send a customer money after said customer charged back the entire policy premium. The chargeback is a clear breach of the contract you signed with us, and immediately invalidates your coverage, thereby negating any claim you may have been entitled to. This is standard practice for any company–no customer would ever be entitled to any money after charging back their full policy premium. We’re very sorry, but things simply do not work this way.
