The customer service is definitely not in the interest of the buyer. I've spent almost 2,000 dollars on around 70 models in the last month on cgtrader, there were about 6 models totaling 200 bucks from one artist, the models all had issue's and i requested a refund, im not some a**hole looking to take advantage, this one artist monogroup's models were terrible, every single one. They denied me a refund, on the premise that they didnt trust i would delete. With that being said there is no quality control or any type of safety. On top of it, just be 100% sure on what your buying, read comments and check negative ratings. Good luck

I've been an artist on this platform for about 2 years now. They won't pay you and they blame it on the bank/PayPal. STAY AWAY

Bought a .obj mesh hoping my software would import it. It didn't, but it's much better at .3ds models, so I asked for the promised file conversion. They take half a day to answer, only to let me know that I can use the .obj file I have downloaded. I try again, same thing. They don't answer support questions. Waste of time and money.

Anything you may need from their workers, you will get it. Apart from a well designed and working web I especially like the personal support you get here. Really appreciated.

I bought a model of a basketball hall. The preview render was nice. The render with the file they provided me was a lot lower in quality and when I asked for money back, they told me the were not going to give me the money back, because I had to know some post production was applied. I suggest not to buy from them at all.

I tried purchasing an asset on their store only to realize that it was under an 'Editorial license'. Editorial licenses are severely restricted and can only be used for non commercial endeavors. Needless to say, I was frustrated by this and I reached out to the artist for an explanation. The artist told me that he had made a mistake and he then changed the license type on the store front to 'general use'. Ok. So, that's not cool. If artists on this site are switching licensing around whenever they want to , how can I be sure that what I buy is legit? Seriously, this site gives me real doubts to the point where I wouldn't recommend anyone use it. Who needs a lawsuit over an asset license?

The support is incredibly fast and helpful. Top notch! Many companies should learn from CGTrader how to make customers happy.
