Ordered dishwasher part seven weeks ago. Never arrived. Left emails and messages with their chat bots, no replies. Just contacted Visa to cancel payment. Complete scam.

If I could do it zero stars I would- complete scam of a company. If you purchase from here, assume you will not be able to contact anyone via email, phone or online chat for anything.

Don't waste your time - This merchant unfortunately gives other reputable online retailers a black eye. Our very old dishwasher needed a timer. Certified-Parts.com website showed that they had the necessary part in stock with corresponding picture. Ordered & they changed my card (less than $100) & sent a somewhat convoluted email invoice indicating that they charged my c. card (which they did). Then crickets - waited 7 days - no correspondence/shipping data - I called multiple times no pickup - left VM - support email on website address got bounced back. I then responded to a the charge email address and got an automated bounce back response from a totally different vendor. Now over two weeks have passed since they charged my card. I initiated a charge dispute with my very good CC company. Once my CC company got involved - miraculously certified-parts.com got religion and responded to my weeks prior request and cancelled my order. My gut is this company runs somewhat of a fraudulent activity. They imply that they have the part in stock/on hand when in reality they have no intention in fulfilling the order. They take your $ and hope with the relatively small amount (under $100) people will just give up and write it off. Their reaction once the my credit card company got involved implies that they know their deceit is revealed and they immediately react in order to not be delisted by the CC companies. The sad part is their deceived customers wait for weeks for a nonexistent part to repair and get functioning their necessary appliance (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). Not only does certified-parts.com tie up the customer's money (at best) they have no intention of fulfilling the customers request thus unnecessarily delaying the customer's ability to get on with their lives. We got a new dishwasher installed after being without one for a month.

The website looks a little suspicious, and I saw nothing but bad reviews. But no other store had the part I needed and it wasn't too much money so I took the risk and placed the order. I had to wait a week for them to ship the part, then another week for it to arrive at my house. The part is used and smells like cigarettes but that's fine. It was listed as "New (Salvaged/Open Box)" when I ordered it. Despite being called "new" I already expected it to not be new. And it's just a piece of plastic. Nothing mechanical. I would order from Certified Parts again if I can't find the part anywhere else or maybe if they are selling a used part for much cheaper than new, and I'm not in a hurry to get it. It's a legitimate business but they need to do some damage control with all these bad reviews floating around and the slightly scammy looking website. The other thing that feels scammy is that they list price levels for parts. Like "used" or "refurbished" or "open-box" or "new". Something like that. I'm not 100% convinced that anything they sell is going to be new. The business behind the webstore is a recycling company. They're tearing down old appliances and selling the parts online. If I needed something like a motor I would want to know more about the real condition of it before ordering.

I ordered a microwave door. After receiving the receipt email, I heard nothing for over 2 weeks. Emails weren't returned, and online chats went unanswered. When I called, they finally said the item was coming in a couple of days. That time came and went. More emails. Finally, I demanded a refund a month after ordering the part. I haven't seen the refund clear my account yet - we shall see.

They all shipped the part as advertised but then I ended up not needing it. Trying to get ahold of a customer service rep to issue me the RMA# was absolutely ridiculous. No one responded to emails or the chat app for a few weeks. Finally I was able to return the part but was only refunded 1/3 of the original cost because of some refund loophole they use to keep most of the money for themselves. I wouldn't order from them ever again.
