on november 23 , my certificate was aproved.I asked for normal mail , not by printer because i don´t have one. it does not arrive by normal mail. I called the phone on december 4 he told me that it arrive in 3 days, today 14 december 2020 i have nothing. congratulation because the money 199.9 dolar was colected in 4 minutes.

This company charges you incorrectly and tries to make you pay for every single request. You initially pay 149.00 which they make you think covers everything. WRONG. The entire company and their therapists are extremely unprofessional. I would not reccomend them to anyone. Go see an ACTUAL therapist and get things taken care of. Therapists that have legit credentials who are not hiding behind a computer screen. They still have roughly 150.00 of mine that needs to be refunded. I have been beyond patient with this company and gotten nowhere. If you truly requrire a companian animal, do it throgh another source. This is a money pit, like buying a bad car.

First of all they charge $149.99 up front. The Therapist stated that she was "not going to lie for me to get out of paying the deposit to have my dog"! In the process of me trying to explain to her my situation, I was hung up on. I called her back(caller ID), left a voice message requesting her to call me back because I was "somehow disconnected" but she never returned my call. I did contact them back via echat just to get a refund and I am awaiting this to go through. Just disappointed in the service.. Just go through your own therapist if you have one and if you dont then get yourself one; you will need it after an experience like mine.

Not clear rules and pricing. During the process they were asking for extra payments if I do not have my pet yet. Do we need ESA letter to have dog in the apartment or should we get a dog illegally at first and then ask our landlord for permission to have it? I followed CertaPet’s customer service instructions of how to avoid this charge and received an ESA letter that states that I currently have a dog illegally without permission.

Horrible experience. Incorrectly charged for services. No accommodations. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful- will let you know if we get our refund.

DON’T DO IT!! All the positive reviews will change once these people realize they’ve been scammed when their document turns out to be fraudulent. No valid license for the “therapist” in my state. Upon asking for proof, she only stated “trust me, I’m licensed” and never provided any documentation or a license. After being evicted for a fraudulent ESA letter, Certapet hangs up and won’t respond to requests for a refund. Go to an actual therapist. This is a scam!

The letter I got was rejected by the air line I am traveling on (WestJet). I am based in Canada and was assigned to someone in Nevada, US for my assessment and letter. I found that to be odd given they said I would be assigned to someone in the province I am in (Ontario). Turns out CertaPet meant a person from the US who is assigned to Ontario... WestJet said I need to have someone in Canada or in my jurisdiction. You shouldn’t sell your services to Canadians if this is the case. It cost me $230 CAD between the letter and the special WestJet form I had to get filled out. Now I am out that money and left scrambling for my trip in 3 days.

Denied me without explanation, told me to get a therapist in the area when I explained in the assessment I no longer see one in the area for my own reasons. This is after meeting most criteria for an ESA letter. They told me they would refund me but it wasn't until I responded with an obviously frustrated response and was given attitude was I issued the refund email... Now waiting and hoping I actually get my money back and they're not a straight out scam. Also, they claim to pair you with someone in your area... I live in NY and I was paired with someone located in TX. Edit: Did NOT get assigned "state by state" assignment as certipet tries to claim in response. As TEXAS IS NOWHERE NEAR NYS. The fact that i lost 35 dollars after meeting criteria because the "therapists" are quacks and straight out rude. They glance at the all over the place questionnaire and deny you immediately without questions. If you want an ESA go through a legitimate therapist. Less likely to scam and steal your money.
