Blew me away!
I was very hesitant to go with CertaPet at first, because all of the other websites were clearly scams. Someone from their customer service team spent 30 minutes on the phone with me while I asked a bunch of questions, further reassuring me that this company was the real deal. DISCLAIMER: CertaPet themselves DO NOT issue the ESA letters, but rather they couple you up with a REAL mental health professional from your state. I was paired with a real professional and had access to her office phone and personal email. I even verified her license number through my state's government website. Everything here is 100% legit. Why not go to my regular therapist/doctor you may wonder? I currently do not have active health insurance, and even if I did, my current Primary Care doctor has no clue about issuing letters for ESAs, despite her working with my mental health issues for the last 10+ years. I even had time sensitive issues regarding my letter delivery (my LMHP was going out of town and I needed the letter ASAP), and customer service directly contacted her and explained how imperative it was that I received my letter before she left for a trip. Everything was taken super seriously, and I am so grateful. I am now able to return home with my ESA in a legal and proper manner. Speaking as someone who has suffered mental illness for quite a long time, I think that this is an amazing way to connect those who have a LEGIT medical/psychiatric illness to medical professionals. If you do not have a disorder that fits within the DSM V standards, you will be turned away by the professional. That being said, use this service. It truly works.
