I would be very careful about this service. After they charged you and you take the test, they said a "therapist" will call you to finalize the application. You pick a date based on what is available. I had a confirmation for 3.15 pm and I waited, and waited and waited the "therapist" to call me to talk to me about my application. It was then 4 pm when I decided to call and they sent you immediately to a voice mail. No human interaction. Then I start a chart in their website and I have to admit, that was fast. When I asked that person (without a name) why I was not called as per "meeting confirmation", they said it may take an hour for them to call. What???. I told them no one explained to me I have to wait for an hour. Anyway, the hour passed and I never got a call from the "Therapist" Traci Seery. Very shady service. A day has passed and I hadn't received no even an apology for such a bad service. I would stay away from making business with this company.

I wouldn't trust a website that blatantly lies about their review counts just to give the appearance of a trustworthy company. On their reviews page it states that they have 8567 Trustpilot reviews. What's funny is that at the time of this review Trustpilot has them at a little over 800 reviews. If they'll be dishonest about this why would I trust them with my time, money, and mental well being.

Don’t use if you live in Hawaii or if you are in a rush. They have one therapist and they are trying your best but it’s not good enough when you don’t have a solid answer and instead they say they can’t guarantee anything. Try another service that gives a guarantee of 24 hours.

Absolutely horrified by my experience with Antoinette Montgomery. She called me for a phone consultation for CertaPet and rather than try to help me, she accused the psychologist I have seen for almost 5 years of “illegal and unethical” practices. I asked her what relevance that had to our phone consultation for an ESA and offered to work with a different therapist, but she allowed to interview to proceed. When discussing my support system, she again attempted to intervene in an existing therapeutic relationship when I mentioned my psychiatrist. I then told her that I felt the best course of action would be for me to receive a refund by placing a stop payment on my credit card, to which she replied “I am sensing a lot of hostility from you.” Unbelievably unprofessional clinician.

Beware of choosing auto renew. Just don't do it. Once this company has your money, they will not respond to emails even though the email indicates that is the process to follow. Additionally, no one answers the phone or responds to voicemails. They will, however, charge your credit card and force you to go through the dispute process with your credit card company. Not cool.

If I could give no strs, I would. On Nov. 1st I tried to get my cat certified to be my emotional support animal. My fiancé and I are expecting our first baby and in the midst of moving. My cat really has been by my side through thick and thin and in order for our new place to wave our $400 pet fee (as well as $40/mo), they need proof of an ESA animal. Once Certapet made me pay $127.49, THEN they had me fill out an application. They never stated how extensive this application was. It was about 60 very very personal questions. After suffering through that, they couldn't get me a phone consultation for about a week! Finally a week goes by and this lady is asking a lot of questions even though I've answered all of them in the application. She proceeds to tell me that she will not issue me my certification until I prove to her that I am going to therapy. (This is none of her business whether or not I go to a counselor, in my opinion). Anyway, I send her a screenshot of a confirmation email stating that I made an appointment with this therapist. She still refuses to issue me a certification and says I need to prove to her that I am going to go to this appointment. I explain to her that I need this certification because my new apartment is waiting for me to show proof of my cat being an ESA animal. I tell her that they cannot issue my lease agreement until so. I tell her that she's stressing me out more than anything else right now and she still refuses to help. I end up going to a different company and they were able to issue my documents immediately. Certapet is a joke, they make themselves to be a company that actually cares about your mental health when in reality all they want is your money.

Low on Ease, Low on Business Management I appreciate CertaPet's deliverable providing aide and protection to those with special needs. However, i HATE the customer experience. Its not the Representatives. Its the business. The operations are terrible. The website is awfully user unfriendly. I DREAD having to renew or get a new letter every time every year. Its gotten soo bad that i am taking this as an opportunity to be heard (maybe). Because I CAN NEVER GET IN CONTACT WITH A HUMAN IN ANY KIND OF TIMELY MANNER. Tired of the refunds, and the wasted time that is derived from VPs and upper Management's lack of customer experience focus.

They took my money and wanted a review immediately. glad i didn’t fill out. Took too long too many questionnaires and i never spoken to DR. and decided this is a waste. I have called 3 times for refund and no one gets back to you!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! next is a complaint to BBB a and every where i can. Customer deserve a response!!!
