Recently travelled to Honduras. Went to the local Cellcom store and they gave me SIM cards for my phones. When I activated them on my wife's iphone 10 and my iphone 6 they turned on and worked immediately on the Claro network. Then, my i6 started dropping the network. So, I got online for a real time chat. After a few back and forth questions, tech was able to solve the problem. great service all around

This really isn't a good company anymore. I've had both post paid and prepaid with them. They never upgrade their Network, State prepay data is at 3mbps. I rarely pull over 500kbps. Most Cellcom customers I talk to are jumping ship, they haven't stayed competitive with other providers data coverage in the area anymore. I get 38mbps with T-Mobile and over 50 with AT&T, and I'm way out in the country. This company just isn't worth it anymore. They are strictly profit not quality of service driven. I never see postings or news stories about them introducing better speeds or new Technology. It the same old towers that Verizon forced them to upgrade tens of years ago to maintain a roaming agreement or I'm sure 4glte wouldn't have happen either.

they kind of company that will milk you for money even after you were smart enough to get away from them. also they have a clear political bias which they show by presenting only fox news among their global news channels, no cnn, bbc etc. once you are done they claim you have equipment you never received and now need to pay for. and ofcourse there are no means to dispute them on this, their word against yours .... stay away
