Scam Return Address
I just received the ball cat toy. I found the package on the street in front of my mailbox. The package was badly damaged, and the toy itself appears to be so, too. (Was it run over? Did it fall out of the mailbox? Did the Postal Service accidentally drop it? Was it damaged by the time it even got to our address? All of these ate possibilities). The return address on the plastic wrap is Hliver Lowry, 3646 S Wolcott Ave, Chicago, IL. 60609. When I looked it up, this appears to be an address cited in a scam update. The tracking says that It came from China, so I do not know how the Chicago address came to be. I’ve just requested a refund by email. I don’t know if that’s the correct thing to do or not, but I resent being scammed in any way, and I have to at least try to get my money back. (It was not too expensive, but still…). Let’s see what happens….BUT…my advice would be to proceed with caution if you are thinking of making a purchase from this vendor/through the social media ad. Please note: This was not an unordered item, but for more information about the scam involving the return address, just Google the address.
