One of my absolute favorite stores to shop at! I always enjoy my visits, and I love the quality and style of their clothing. I constantly receive compliments on the outfits I purchase here! What makes my shopping experience even more special is Denise, the store manager. She is truly a gem! She always makes me feel welcomed and valued. I appreciate her genuine kindness, helpfulness, and honest opinions. I trust her judgment when it comes to choosing outfits, and she never disappoints! Great clothes, wonderful customer service, and a manager who truly makes a difference. It's always a pleasure shopping here!

I ordered a small blazer for my vacation trip to Trinidad and received a large. As a regular customer I expected to get at least a discount for the inconvenince. Instead I recived a email from Shari informing me to send the item back and that she is unable to compensate me for my inconvience. I am a night worker. It's a reason people shop online. I will not be doing business with them again.

I bought a shirt at Cato. I didn't notice until I got home that the shirt had a really strong chemical odor. . I thought it would wash out but it did not. I washed it a total of 5 times with scent beads. No change. I called the store and was told I could take it back with no receipt because who keeps receipts for clothes they purchase and wash. So I went in there today to try to return the shirt. You know I didn't even care about a refund. They could have just given me store credit. I was mainly taking it back because I thought they should know about it. The two young ladies there were very rude. They asked for the receipt several times. They were also acting like this was not a shirt I purchased at Cato and it obviously was. When I purchased the shirt there were at least 20 others hanging on the rack just like it, so they had to be familiar with the item. That being said i paid $21.99 for the shirt. After i had waited there for about 15 minutes for them to try and located the shirt on clearance so they could refund me the clearance price I just left. The lady I assume was the manager said as I was leaving the store that they could refund me $8. I was on my lunch hour and by this time very frustrated. I just said no thank you. I've been a customer for many years. I will never purchase anyything from CATO again. I should have just put the shirt in the trash instead of trying to bring it to their attention.

Cato Fashion in Orlando. The store was clean and well organize. The clothes are not boring looking clothes, like other stores. The clothes, hats, shoes, earrings are beautiful. The staff was so helpful and friendly to all the customers. Thank you Martina from the Davenport store and Cynthia from the Orlando store for making all the customers in the store feel special. We love shopping here.

Went to the store in Lake City and I was never greeted as a customer. The staff appeared to be shopping the clearance rack with another staff that was getting ready to clock in at 12. I purchase some item and the staff exchanged a thanks. I went back 20 minutes later and returned the items. I can spend my money somewhere else.

I have loved the Cato Clothing Stores for over thirty plus years and more. I am a very loyal customer. I wish that they had a way and offered their customers discounted coupons. I said all of that to say this. I do not know who it is that makes the selections for your customers but I truly believe that if the styles are not improved your establishments will be shutting doors at many locations. It seems the person doing the ordering does it from their own personal taste. The clothing is too country and old fashioned. It would be nice if we the customers had more choices of solid color items like blouses and dresses. Every thing I have in my closet is multicolored and 99% of my wardrobe comes from Cato’s. I travel all over the cities to shop at your stores even when I am out of town. Please take this noted review into consideration. Thank You, from one of your most loyal customers ever.

I visited Cato today on 05/04/26 @Cato Fashions Lake City , Ga. 30260. I initially came in store to buy a pair of earrings; however, I arrived a few minutes early sat and waited until thy open but tried to open the door at 10:15am and the door was locked. I could see the workers inside one lady was in the front paying me no mind, she kept hanging clothes, so I looked through the window to get her attention. then she came to the door. I asked do you all open at 10:00am she said yes as if it didn't matter. Well I ended up browsing and buying 3 things when I initially wanted one thing which was a plus. BUT when ready to check out I stood at the counter waiting for someone to check me out, mind you it was me and another lady in there shopping. well the young girl kept hanging clothes as if no one was at the counter, I watched her through the mirrors she came to the counter when she got ready.... I gave the store a 3 star because I did find what I wanted, But customer service could have been better upon arrival and closing of sale.

I live in a small town in Alabama and this shop always has great new styles available for every season. I do most of my clothes shopping here because they fit my style so perfectly. Thank you Cato for giving customers what they need in Clanton, Alabama.
