A mixed review...
I feel conflicted in giving this product (Phoenix Floor Lamp) a review. On one hand, the light looks as advertised and I like it in the space. It shipped quickly and arrived on time, which was also good. It was straightforward to put together once I figured a few things out. On the other hand, the price seems way too high for what we got. It's not the best construction—basically a plastic frame with little acetate filters that you have to add in manually to change the colour of the light. The instructions were all in Chinese, had no company branding, and it had a weird smell when I took it out of the box (it went away after a few days). I have the feeling that the company is a reseller of products available elsewhere, since the contact phone number has a southern California area code but the listed mailing address is a condo building in Montreal, Canada, and the content on their site makes it seem like they're *very* concerned with competition (or "authenticity" and "fraud" as they say). All in all, I'm happy with the impact of the lights, but wish the price better reflected both the quality and the experience. I wouldn't return them, but am mixed on whether I'd recommend them to others.

I'd just like to clarify a few concerns that you've highlighted in your review in hope that it'll give you a clearer understanding! The lamp frame is actually made from aluminum and definitely not plastic, as that wouldn't be durable whatsoever. The heads of the lamp are made of a glass lens which allows for the beautiful sunset colors. The filters are there to allow you to choose which color sunset you'd like for each lamp head. We didn't want to make that decision for you and felt it would be way cooler experience for our customers to customize that! We are indeed based in Canada, with our office based in Montreal, Quebec. We use a business line provider service which allows call-forwarding to customer support personnel which is why it's a number based in southern California. Competitors have both attempted to take us down and made use of our company's brand in the past which is why the concern for authenticity is highlighted. We've been around for more than two years now and wouldn't be here if we had any intention of being deceitful with our customers.
