We had a cork floor resurfaced (protective coating applied). We were given an estimate of @$1,000 for what was expected to be a 2-day job. the detail on the estimate referred to several steps for sanding, staining, and applying the protective coating. When the job was done, it took 2.5 hours, from arrival until pulling out of the driveway. I questioned the bid, asking if they were mistaken in treating it like a refinishing of a hardwood floor. I was told it was just the code in their system that printed out that description, but I believe it is also the code that assigned the cost. In the end, I feel that I was charged almost double for the work done. The shame of it all is that we are very pleased with the work that was done, but feel the cost for a 2 hour job was much too high. If it had truly been a 2-day job, it may have been reasonable. Also, your folks have measured for carpeting our entire upstairs, but we do not plan to do more business with CarpetOne, because we have lost our trust in the Company. Gina Cocklereece Winston-Salem

Our cork resurfacing jobs are estimated at 2 days, which always gives our installers extra time just in case there are unforseen circumstances in the floor. However, our materials and labor is based on square footage. I do apoligize if that was not fully explained to you at your time of purchase. Service to their customers is clearly a priority for the staff at Carpet One by Henry. Our salesperson, Chad Wright, not only went the extra mile, he went an extra 50 miles. Chad brought 2 rugs to our home to view with our furniture and to see how they were affected by our ambient natural light. We were pleased that we could make this evaluation and believe that out of the hundreds of rugs that we looked at, we were able to make the best possible choice for our home. We would be pleased to recommend Carpet One by Henry to anyone purely because of Chad's "service centered" approach to doing business.
