We love the carpet. The buying to installing was the simplest thing done with our remolding. The installer Tom was the best. Thank you to all involved.

Carpet order
I ordered my carpet and was not informed ths t it was in back order. The salesman said it would take 3-4 weeks for arrival and installation. The information of back order was available to the salesman, but I believe he did not inform me because, had I known it was going to take 8 weeks, I would not have bought my carpet from Carpet One. I would have left and gone to Home Depot or Loees instead.
At the 4 week mark, I called and was told it was due in that week.. same goes for 5 week mark, 6 week mark and 7 week mark.
I put off all other planned activities and appointments for 5 weeks so I could be available for installation.
Carpet One did not even give me a reduced price for their mistake and my inconvenience.
I chose them because I wanted to give my business to a specialty store instead of a big box store.
Never again.
I completely understand now why Lowe's and Home Depot are so successful. They deliver when individual retailers can't.
I told everyone I know at work and my neighbors to never go to Carpet One.

I am very sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience purchasing from Carpet One. The salesman was correct, 3-4 weeks is our normal turnaround time from order to installation. While backorders are quite normal, even for Home Depot and Lowes, you should have been informed immediately so that you could decide to choose another product or wait. We have a process in place to inform our customers of backorder situations, so you should have received a call from our service department almost immediately after the carpet was ordered. The salesperson would only get involved with a backorder if you had decided to reselect a new carpet. It is obvious to me that we failed to call you when we should have.
Please accept my sincere apologies. We truly value every customer and strive to provide beautiful new floors while making the experience fun and enjoyable. We clearly fell short of this goal on your project. As I mentioned before, Home Depot and Lowes also have backorders. However, customers like you purchase from Carpet One because they expect professional treatment and stellar service, especially in the event of a manufacturing delay. At Carpet One, you are dealing with flooring experts and a local store owner that cares about each project. As the owner and general manager of this business, I can assure you that I take your feedback very seriously, and that I will be correcting the cause of this error. Also, I agree with you completely, and feel that a significant discount is in order. The store has a great selection of rugs and carpets. Tina M. was fabulous to work with because she not only knew her products well, but also had great insight into my personal style and what would work best for me. She took the time to figure out the best way to carpet my stairs for the lowest price, which was very much appreciated. I will definitely use Carpet One again.

We had three employees walk by and completely ignore us....as we stood at the reception counter. One stared right at us and kept walking, straight into his office (where he faced us, pretending he didn't see us). We were the only customers in the building. The flooring we purchased was fine, customer service sucks.

Great place for carpets!
Great service and product; minor issue that was resolved quickly and fully to our satisfaction. Todd and Greg were very helpful in picking out the carpets and handling the installation. The selection, quality and price was very good. The carpets look beautiful! We would definitely use Carpet One again and recommend them to our family and friends.

Great purchasing and installation experience.
Bob came to our home to measure and made recommendations about types of flooring and installation.
We then saw Bob at the showroom and he assisted in selecting the flooring.
The installation team was great. Familiar with both LVT (our choice for the replacement floor) and carpet and tile installations which the new floor abutted. When the installation team removed the old floor and realized that part of the new area to be covered differed in height from the rest of the floor they called Carpet One and extra underlayment was quickly brought to our home.
