The construction is sturdy and the install crew was good. My GREAT DISAPOINTMENT is that they refused to place the carport closer than 3' to my garage.I now have a gap of 3' on one side and 3.5' on the other side to close,not even square to my garage, to close if I want to keep the rain out.

When we purchased our metal building, we were told that the building was warranted for life including leaks. The building leaks every time it rains. When we called about the issue, they said they wouldn't do anything about it.

Don't use this company. The dealer was professional and all went well. The concrete slab was poured according to the engineered plans from Carolina Carports. Their installers drilled 1" from the edge at an angle and broke off the foundation edge. They said something was wrong with the concrete. I'm no engineer but even I knew this was incorrect. Their own plans call for anchors to be drilled at minimum of 2" from edge. Go figure. After phone calls and emails, someone finally called back nearly 2 weeks later. I submitted numerous photos. Their response was the foundation looked old and not solid. Huh?! It's a month old and I was there for the pour. My concrete contractor even stopped by to look at the broken edge and agreed it was drilled way too close. Instead of Carolina Carports taking ownership of their mistake, the response was to try and shift blame. Their employees need some basic lessons in customer service. The incompetence is mind boggling. I'm happy to share photos of this and you be the judge.

What can I say? When I went through Millennial Buildings, it was quick, and the quote was good and the sent me to Carolina Carports. They were quick to get the information to me and to get everything I asked for and a down payment from me. I ordered a 40'x60' garage. After that, not so good. When I called to have a site visit so they could order the building and set a date to put it in, it took almost a month to get that visit. Once I got the visit, it took over a month to get a date to construct it. They get the down payment and they over sell and over book. Not enough crews to get it up. I asked several times if it could be done by June 1, and they were confident. After I signed with them, it was just slow from them. The guys who put it up, did a quality job putting the building up. No real problem with them. The quality of the roll-up doors are poor. I don't expect them to last too long. I have read reviews about Carolina Carports and other providers, and they are pretty much the same, not good. It is a crap shoot. Overall, good building for the price but it will take time to get it up.

If I could give zero stars, I would. As someone else posted, I wish I had seen these reviews earlier. We ordered our building 3/29/2024 and were told installation would be in about 6 weeks. On 4/18/2024, I received a call that the building permit was just being requested from the county and that it would be 6 weeks from the date of the permit. After 6 weeks, I called the company to inquire about the status. I am in Georgia and was told that I would need to speak with the Georgia representative who was not there that day. When I asked if there was someone else that I could speak to, they said no. So I called back the next day and was told that installation was scheduled for July 8th and 9th. Since today is July 8th, I called requesting answers. After speaking with a very rude lady (Nicole), I asked to speak to her boss. She placed me on hold for about 5 minutes and another lady picked up. When I proceeded to tell my story, she said, "You don't need to start over. You've been on speaker phone and I know what's going on." Then why place me on hold for 5 minutes??!! After a total of 30 minutes and being placed on hold numerous times, I was told (again very rudely) that they do not know when the installation will be. They also had no comment as to why I was previously told July 8th & 9th. I asked to speak to their boss, but they said that "no one there would give me a different answer". I told them that they were not providing very good customer service and they really didn't seem to care. Such a disappointment!

Crew did not show up as informed. Crew could not speak english. Lead also installed one wall wrong not as designed. The garage door has dents across one rib and the side entry door h as a hole in it. I called the day of installation while the crew was still working but had to leave a msg and have not been called back. I paid in advance seven weeks before delivery and the lead guy asked how I was going to pay what a cluster. Trying to resolve this peacefully but I may have to take this to court. Satisfied with Building construction. The roll up doors locks would not work and when I called, I was told that they would send a crew out to fix them. After 3 weeks and no one showing up, I called back and was told it would only be repaired when there was a crew in my area and it stand it would be months away. I am going on vacation and need to be able to secure the building. You would think that they would have someone that could do the punch list repairs in a timely manner. Poor Customer Service and representative was borderline rude. A lot different from when I was in the purchase process.

Haven’t even got my carport yet and have received such poor customer service it’s pathetic. Very bad attitudes, snotty and basically don’t care about there customers at all. I wish I had found this site before I decided to order one from them. Would have definitely gone with a competitor. Will update when and if I ever get the carport.
