They are horrible! Stay away. They will take your money, make promises to start and constant delays. We paid them right around $90,000 for the installation of concrete and to install our building. During the concrete installation we saw cracks immediately and showed the guys. Well the guys left in the middle of the night and the cracks were there in the morning. Many more cracks within weeks. Our building leaks and one of the garage door is very hard to open and close correctly. David the owner has made several promises that his guys would come out to fix the issues and now it has been a couple of months and they have not been out and will not return our phone calls. It’s a shame how they take care of their customers.

We purchased a 40x60 Carolina Carport 3 years ago, it was a pretty decent experience. I recently had a request from a gentlemen who wanted to see the "Plans" for my garage, which I was unable to locate in my files. Reached out to CCI and was completely shut off. NO help at all, in fact when a Team member in Engineering @ CCI asked if I had done anything to my garage, and of course we put 100 amp electric in and Insulated the building...he said I voided all warranty and concerns from CCI??!!!! Refused to offer any help in getting a copy of plans. But the statement of voiding warranty?? WELL SHOP WISELY....Avoid this company, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT!!!

Was scheduled for a carport installation. The date was set. Used vacation time to be at home for the installation. I called, because no one showed at the time I was given. The company rep I spoke with said they rescheduled to another date. I told her I was never notified. She said the installer called and texted me. I received no calls or text messages. I asked why I didn't receive an email with the cancelation. She did not have an answer. Stay away from this company and anyone who uses them to do their installations.

Carolina Carports has no issue taking your deposit $. After being no shows for install 4 times & I've lost 2 days pay taking off work - I don't recommend. All they have are excused that are actual lies & can't talk to Manager nor they offer any sort discount for all this hastle. Buyers Beware...

Lets start with them not honoring their build of a carport online. It tells you to build with Alans factory outlet and gives you choices of upgrades, i.e. the style roof I upgraded from a regular roof to the better boxed eve. they will not honor the boxed eve on the front and back extensions that projects past the front and back exterior of the building. It also shows in the build that it should be completed on the front and back extensions, and they told me that it is not an accurate build online where they do businss. The staff will lie to you and our unknowledgeable. they wont help you other than saying "sorry we try to make it as accurate as possible". They must not know the term Bait and switch! I say this.because they did not honor the build and they left me with a massive waterfall to the entrance when it rains. I didn't want this to be done according to the reply, because I wished it, I wanted it to be done because it's supposed to look nice around your house and make sure it doesn't look like garbage.That's why I upgraded it , not because I wished it, but because I paid for it.

BUYER BEWARE!! They have knowingly left a disabled veteran with a broken garage door/opener. They demanded payment but refuse to fix the door. They no longer tell us when we’re scheduled but that no longer matters because they don’t honor what they say. No call, no show in September after garage install in June! Now it’s “be home around the first week in November”. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY LOCAL!

I placed my order the end of July through Alan’s Factory Outlet. I called to get an update on my approximate delivery date/range. They were so rude and disrespectful. Not friendly at all. I called Alans Factory Outlet and the delivery contractor CAROLINA CARPORTS, INC for update information because it's been a month and have not heard from anyone. No information could be provided. The only response is we're booked up right now, we will call you three weeks in advance. This is the information you inform your customers about when confirming the order, not afterwards. I will never order from this company again. The online order process is great but the customer and staff is horrible once you pay that deposit and request updates. Will come back with updates throughout the process and photos once installation is complete. Update Received a called from Carolina Carports, INC two weeks ago saying that the contractors would be out on 9/17 (Thursday). My husband took off work so he could be there. Unfortunately as stated in other reviews, they just called today 9/14 (Monday) to tell us they need to reschedule 9/20 (Sunday). I was hoping for a different outcome even though I had doubts because of all the negative reviews. I will come back with updates 9/20. Please order from a company that does not hire third party contractors and claims to be unaware of what’s going on. It’s no way possible Alan’s Factory is unaware of what’s going on due to all the negative reviews posted.
