There are so many facilities to pick from, having a knowledgeable consultant and an advocate for my mom really helped. We worked with Sara, who knew what we wanted, but gave us the information needed to enable us to explore a bit. Turns out she had identified the best 3 right off the bat and we went with one of those. She saved a ton of time and headache for the family and our mom is happy and safe.

I met the amazing ladies of CarePatrol during a crisis. My regular trip to Houston to check on my parents (mom in skilled nursing and dad alone in our family home) revealed that it was time for them to move to Austin with me...and quickly. The social worker at mom's facility mentioned that CarePatrol could help. Enter Diane Witt Nielsen. Within 24 hours, she had connected us with a real estate agent, senior movers and an auction team to handle what was left. She also connected me to Anna McMaster in Austin. Anna has made this difficult process possible. She took me to different facilities, helping me process along the way. She has held my hand...and my heart...through the gut-wrenching transition details, including my mom's move from a "bad fit" skilled nursing home here in Austin to one where she is finally getting the help she needs. Anna even found the hospital bed my mom will need when she joins my dad in independent living--and the movers to get it through the door of their new place. More importantly, she has been a confident, a supporter, and a friend as I struggled to make these tough decisions on behalf of my parents. There has been no "M-F, 9-5" option for her. She has been there whenever the next hurdle arose. I literally could not have gone through this experience without her. I can finally say my parents are safe, settled and thriving thanks to the angels at CarePatrol. I hope you never need their services, but if you do, contact them IMMEDIATELY. They make they hard possible while infusing some much needed joy along the way.

Care Patrol was a very big help in finding a place to move my Mom. I worked with several of their people Todd Seidl and mostly Jenni Cialdini. Both were great. Jenni was especially helpful because I needed to get my Mom out of a respite care facility by the end of September and needed to find a place that I felt would be good for her and we could afford.So many of these places charge a very high non refundable fee to move people in which I feel is outrageous and wrong. We finally found one that I felt would fit her needs at Bay Harbor in Greenfield and it didn't have that fee. So thanks again for your help in this hard decision Jenni. I doubt if I could have pulled it off without your exceptional help and understanding

My experience with Tammy Brewer has been way above expectations. The personal service she provided and the caring for my needs is unparalleled. I had worked with a place for mom and was very disappointed in their service. Tammy listened to my needs and did not go over my budget as others did.
