Honestly, I was at my wits end when I found CarePatrol. I worked with Eric Miller and I can't find the words to describe just how fantastic he truly is. Eric is caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. Eric is always accessible and found the perfect placement for my husband in a timely manner. My mom fell twice within 48 hours landing her in the hospital. I was referred to Care Patrol to assist in the process of finding the right Assisted Living Facility (ALF) for my mom. I was blessed to have Jena Kloepfel as my "real estate agent" of assisted living. She was kind, compassionate, and understanding of how difficult this decision is for family members to make. This experience took place during the pandemic shut down. Jena obtained the information needed and based on my mother's assets and waiting lists, referred me to 4 different places. Of the four, one was a no for me from the start. A second one had just been built. Jena was able to schedule an in house tour prior to the opening. Third one never responded to her request for a virtual tour. Ding...if they don't respond before they get my mom's money what will happen after they do? The last one, she had a virtual tour of for me. When I mentioned I saw online they were allowing in house tours of parties of two, she immediately contacted them and got us in...even though she had another appointment soon after. This one was the place for my mom. Jena asked relevant questions that I had not thought of and gave me some other tips based on her experience working in ALF in her past. With that said, I am delighted with the efficiency and knowledge I received from Care Patrol. Jena rocks!!

I can't begin to tell you how helpful Care Patrol was for me during the pandemic and finding unassisted living for my Dad. I wish I had know about this service when my mom became ill.

Care Patrol provided a contact and very good match for our mother that we never would have been able to find independently. When I initially contacted Melanie, the response for help was very quick in the needed urgent situation of finding an assisted living/home for mom after an abrupt life changing illness that took her from her home to hospital to subacute care to assisted living. Melanie was so flexible to work with our family's tight schedule to assess and then re-assess options. This included initial visits and then helping with re-visiting locations. She provided lists of questions to help focus what our family/mother's needs were as we looked at locations. She took time to get to know our mother and family, as includes her needs and personality to make a good match for her care. While I imaging many families can make transitions in a slower time frame, the need to move mother safely just prior to a COVID shut down made this a very difficult time. I cannot imaging how we would have accomplished this independently and am thankful for Care Patrol's and Melanie's kind help.

My mom needed to be immediately transferred to a memory care facility and during the COVID-19 crisis. Living in another state from my mom, I was not familiar with any of the facilities where my mom lived and could not visit the facilities myself due to COVID-19 visitor restrictions. Mary Ann Pickell at CarePatrol of the Lehigh Valley helped me quickly identify safe and secure facilities, within my mom's budget range, in a very short time frame, and all remotely during the COVID-19 crisis. As a result of Mary Ann's help and coordination with the facility, I was able to move my mom to a very nice, and safe, memory care facility, in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis.
