We were fortunate to work with two of your associates due to the expanse of the zip codes we were searching in. Both provided invaluable assistance in a timely manner and even met with us on a Saturday to accommodate family work schedules. The social work model is highly effective in a search such as ours that was more about the safety and operational aspects of an assisted living facility vs. the number of resident activities on the calendar. Our parents were already in an AL facility and not having a good experience. Our questions were very targeted and specific and CarePatrol took the time to provide us with detailed information to narrow our number of in-person facility visits and then did a great job in letting the leadership at those facilities know what was most important to us. One of the CarePatrol associates provided a resource for checking on veteran’s benefits and even guidance on if and when to use our parent’s long-term care policy. My family and I will be sharing the benefits of this service and more importantly the relationship that developed to assist us in locating a facility for our parents with any of our friends and family in need of the same kind of expert assistance. We only wish we had met them a year ago when we started our AL facility search. Also, they dealt with the facilities directly so we did not have a bunch of marketing and sales calls like happened a year ago when I signed up for an online service that heavily advertises its services. CarePatrol was not high pressure; no “salesy” tactics—instead, valuable information from which we could make an educated decision as to what was best for our parents.

Cas was exceptional to work with. We spoke on multiple occasions over the period of about a week. He was always available and answered all of our questions. He helped us identify the best assisted living options for my dad. He was impartial regarding recommending a facility, but was able to provide insight into the differences between them. When the realization first set in that my wife would need care I was unable to provide (more time, lifting, etc.), I asked around for guidance. Short term, I was able to locate in-home help, but I didn't think I could trust my instincts to find the "right place" where she would be cared for 24/7. As her dementia grew worse, I intensified my search by approaching our pastor and several people in our age group that may have had some experience with friends or relatives having entered a long term care facility. Imagine my frustration at batting zero! Our family physician suggested enlisting the aid of palliative care which proved to be a Godsend. On her first visit, the palliative nurse gave me some hand-out literature, which included the brochure for Care Patrol and contact numbers for Beth & Patrick Bowen. The information was interesting and appeared to be what I needed - an overview of available facilities in the area, not just one or two where someone had placed a loved one. My contact with Beth & Patrick was met with an exchange of information and ideas that made my head spin! Their knowledge of numerous facilities, many within 10 miles of our home, was extensive and comprehensive right down to opinions of which ones would serve our needs and pricing that we could examine for our ability to afford long-term. We, then,worked together to narrow down the list to four "possibles" that we further examined in-depth to choose the right one for my wife. I am pleased to say that Beth & Patrick cut my lead-time from about a year of investigation to a few short weeks and my wife has been placed in a first-class facility that I may never have located without their guidance and expertise. I am forever grateful to them for their caring and wealth of knowledge which was provided at a time when my wife's future care was was reaching "crisis" mode. I was very happy with the assistance we received from Care Patrol. The issue that made finding help more challenging is my mother has a feeding tube. First Sarah helped us find in home care at an affordable cost. Secondly she helped us find assisted living suitable for both mom and dad. Sarah understood the effort involved with someone having a feeding tube. She was thorough in her research. I would recommend Care Patrol.
