I found my CarePatrol agent to be extremely helpful, offering advice on matters I wasn't even aware of, which could have had extreme consequences. For example: I didn't know there is a private pay requirement for some communities where rent must be paid from private funds, before the client can apply for Medicaid, if private funds are exhausted. Careful monetary calculations ensured my brother would be able to afford to reside at the new community for several years, without worrying about financial concerns. I am grateful for my agent's knowledge and willingness to share her insight.

My sisters and I worked with Kristen M. of CarePatrol of the Fox Cities. She was invaluable to us in finding an assisted living home for my mother who had fallen and broken 6 ribs in addition to having dementia. Kristen set up Zoom and Google meetings with all the homes we were considering. She helped us with asking the questions to get the most complete information from the homes. She acted as liaison between the rehab facility and the homes. After mom moved into the home she continued to help us with the admission process and followed up on how mom was doing. We are very thankful for all she did for our family.

I’m glad to have an opportunity to comment about the services provided by the Care Patrol, especially the owner, Theresa. My mother’s health deteriorated quickly, requiring a need to transition her from independent living to an assisted living facility. I had no idea of all the challenges associated with caring for my aging mother, plus the challenges of transitioning her to a new location so late in her life. In stepped Theresa and the Care Patrol. Theresa provided outstanding service and guided me through a tumultuous period. She is very caring, service oriented, knowledgeable, and empathetic to my mother. She was a tremendous help with the transition. And it didn’t end there. Theresa even visited my mother at her new assisted living apartment in the days following her move and brought her a nice gift for her new home.
