Having to find a place to care for an aging parent or relative is a extremely stressful thing to do. Most people (me included) don't know the various levels of care and options that are available or how to work with the hospitals, nursing facilities and insurance companies. That is where CarePatrol comes in... My agent (I like to call her my real estate agent for elder care) stepped right in, kindly explained the options we had, arranged for tours of several facilities and accompanied me on those tours making sure that all of my questions were answered. Even after we chose a place for my mom, she stayed in touch throughout her move in and even after to make sure that I was satisfied with our decision. I literally could NOT have done this without her. If you are ever faced with making decisions about how to care for an elderly person, do not hesitate to contact CarePatrol, they will give you all the help you will ever need.

I contacted your service because I care for an aunt who is 75 years old and in poor health. I worked with Sheri Keyes-Swartz in Holland, MI. She did a great job of understanding my aunts needs and financial situration and made helpful recommendations on facilities. She worked with me in contacting the facilities and set up a virtual tour of the one we were interested in. She gave me helpful advise on how to proceed especially in these weird time of Covid 19 quarantine. Lastly, her advise and kind works gave me the confidence that I was doing things the right way for my aunt.

Heniz did great job giving us information and guiding us through the process. He saved me a lot of time researching and visiting facilities that wouldn't have worked. I think we ended up picking the facility that's the best fit. The only part of the process that was a challenge was moving, there were a few things that were needed that we missed and had to buy at the last minute. I'm not sure if that's on us, the facility, or Care Patrol, or a little of all of us, but I think to make the process go a bit smoother, a list or guide of what to bring would have been helpful. If that's the only criticism, I think that shows how good the service was.

She followed through with me and picked up the pieces when I dropped the ball. She made appointments for me and came along on site visits (virtual and face to face). CarePatrol has helped my husband and our family so much. They gave us peace of mind and reassurance that they would find the best memory care residence for my husband's care.
