Very grateful to have found a competent, professional, compassionate caregiver for my mother through Carelinx.

Carelinx is the first job site I have dealt with, as most of my jobs (private cases) I acquired through a Geriatric Care Manager. I have heard stories of how Agencies treat their workers, so when I decided to take a break from doing the Live-in, I decided to try Carelinx. I was pleasantly surprised when I started to complete my Profile how easy it was. I was contacted by a coordinator who welcomed me and encouraged me to complete my profile with my photo. I got a job through a Recruiter which lasted for a year. During the year, I kept getting texts from Carelinx about posted jobs in my area. My one-year job ended in February of this year and I got my first job through Carelinx. I like that everything for Carelinx is online. It is very easy to clock in and out; the time sheet set up is unbelievably easy to fill in. After time sheet is submitted, it takes about 2 - 3 working days and payment is deposited in my account. It all depends on the family. Access to all your time sheets and payroll information is at your finger tips - I love that! Again, the site is generally very easy to navigate. I noticed that some of the positions advertised are for just a few hours, of which Carelinx has no control, of course, but most caregivers need at least 40 hours per week. The advertised positions, when filled, should be removed from the site as soon possible. Live-in positions for all States or Cities should be grouped together, as some caregivers are willing to relocate to where the jobs are and this would make it easier to search for live-in jobs. I gave Carelinx a 4-star and not a 5-star rating based on the last paragraph of this review.

My caregiver was attentive, professional and kind as a result she sped up my healing process. I’m very grateful we met.

A super application because we do not have to clock in and out at an office location, we can do it all on our android phones and do not have hand paper time sheets but very conveniently do it with the CareLinx application, thus saving us time and money.

Two weeks to get paid was not pleased.

1) In my first year of use, I had a Carelinx rep. She had been my contact person for quite a while. Several months ago, I tried contacting her & she was no longer available @her cell #. It seems if she's no longer working with the company, a replacement rep should've reached out to me to let me know who would be my new contact rep:( Now, there's only a generic # or having to use the chat online which, again, isn't really a chat but an up to 24hr wait until your question may be responded to:( Having a real, user-friendly contact person is what I found most appealing about using this site. I've used 2 other sites in the past & find this one, pro's & con's is as average as the others:( 2) When I updated my address more than 6 months prior to the tax season, the address used for the W-2 was my old one:( It seems that all Carelinx caregiver address' used should be the one that is current on the caregiver's profile. Home Solutions needs to make this their responsibility since part of the deduction in pay goes to paying for their services.
