Karen is absolutely wonderful! We found her just as the pandemic was beginning. We have 4 sons who were instantly thrust into E-Learning. This was particularly difficult since 2 of our boys have learning difficulties and the other 2 were performing sub-standard academically. By the end of Covid, one son who had an IEP was an A student This would never have been possible without Karen's knowledge, support, humor and genuine concern for our family. Karen blended well within our little group, which was not easy at all during an epidemic! We have called Karen since that time when as a couple we are overwhelmed and need a date night or just a break. We trust her without hesitation and have left her to care for our house and 2 poodles while we have gone on vacation. We would without hesitation, recommend Karen to ANY FAMILY who would be lucky enough to have her. Actually, all of our sons still ask when she's coming back. I'm being using care.com since 2016 and has help me finding jobs. The care.com app was much better on the past, you can do everything now somethings you have to do it in a computer like a change in payment method, etc I always be a premium and daily I received in advance an email on yahoo with available job now no emails. Also, for one time opportunity you have to be booked and paid thru stripes which I can not because tax purposes I'm in PR and I lost a big number of jobs but now you don't have stripes thanks God. Sometimes when I look for jobs I noticed that some of then appear after weeks that has been post it. Parents told me that is very difficult to post jobs

I love care.com ... Working with Care.com has been a positive experience overall. It’s an easy way to connect with families looking for childcare, senior care, or pet sitting, all in one place. Communication is simple and organized, which makes managing jobs less stressful. However, some features require a paid membership, and there can be competition for jobs. Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable platform for finding consistent caregiving work.

I found a good caregiver on care.com I like how they do background checks and they have people where you can message them, but the price can be kind of high so just keep that in mind

We are preschool providers. Signed up with Care.com to have more exposure so we can get more kids enrolled, but we got only one in three months. Not only that, all of the parents who "needed child care" never answered their phones, emails, or sms. Customer service is the worst. They will get back to you in a few days or a week, but that is not the problem. I really don't know how they advertise their website, but my web developer looks like doing a much better job in advertising, because we show up on the first page, with very little budget, Care.com on the second page or later. Read their contract policy (They do not guarantee anything, but you have to sign a one-year contract). We made a huge mistake by just tasting them and what they were offering, without reviewing their reviews and whether they are actually advertised. Now we are stuck with an extra $300 expense for the next 10 months, and no results. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH CARE.COM If you have a website, you spend this $300 on Google, and get a lot more exposure. Make your money worth it, not waisted like we did.

This site is very informative and easy to use. I like the fact that they all alerted me when I received a message. There’s a lot of job opportunity on care.com and I was able to find a job fairly quickly. I would recommend care.com to anyone looking for a job as a babysitter or nanny.

I subscribed in February 2025 for a year. After about a week or two of checking out the site, I determined it wasn’t what I was looking for, so I cancelled the auto renew after only about 2 weeks. Fast forward to a year later and care billed me $155 for another year. They didn’t care and would only refund a small portion of what they billed for the new years subscription, even though I had cancelled near my a year earlier. When I pressed for the full amount, they wouldn’t budge, even though it was their fault and I had never used them heir service. AVOID CARE.COM LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are terrible, do not care about their customers and very poor customer service.
