a great job was done, with my housekeeping

Care.com has been a very good site, and it offers many options for various needs. The hardest aspect on Care.com I have seen, is running into caregivers who really do not follow through. They never stick to the scheduling agreement, and they never show for even the first day of work. I am getting many who want more than we as parents make an hour-and genuinely do bare minimal. I have had to direct sternly caregivers on why they need to drive my kids to activities and then they complain I won't pay for their boyfriends. This is insane to me. So, all in all-Care.com itself is great, but be very mindful of the face the caregiver's wear. I have not been impressed yet. Keep in mind my children are older and self-sufficient, and they still try games. It is exhausting. Nanny work/babysitting is not a job you get to be lazy at, and I hope Care.com implements this same expectation.

Got a lot of candidates shortly after posting the position. I found several who would match my need and the one I selected worked out just fine. She was flexible with time and so patient with my wife.

I was able to find a great nanny job here. The cutest little girl with a great family.

Always timely requests and responses

I have been a registered caregiver for seven years with Care.com. This site is reputable and I have met several wonderful families needing Care. I highly recommend it

We wanted 2 senior care caregivers for my 90 year-old mom. We live with her and she requires very little care. Occasionally we wanted to get away , so we hired care.com. We were little hesitant at first but paid the fee. The first person we hired turned out great, and we hired her. The second person never even showed up for an interview and is not responding to our texts. I thought care.com would have more responsible people than this so this is a little disappointing!

We joined Care.com and posted a job for the care of my aging mother. Within a few days we had several applicants who we set up for in person interviews. We sorted the interviews and made a hire decision within 2 weeks or positing our position. All the candidates on Care.com are supposed to have been background checked by Care.com so we felt secure about our hire. Care.com was worth the membership fee for us with out a doubt!
