Stay far away. Such an unbelievably deceitful website/service.

We are all not happy with care.com. I have amazing reviews but it is so hard to find a client. Where else can we find a job then? Any suggestions for South Florida.

I was never able to navigate the site, get help, or shut the account off. The site is designed to make ever closing your account difficult. Save yourself some grief and don’t believe the adds. This site is a ripoff.

I have been a Care.com member on and off for several years. I have found a few Caregiving jobs that were great and more than just a few where the families were shady, crazy and less than honest. While I currently have 2 jobs, I always keep my options opened, because you never know who will flake out and/or not pay. I just noticed a message on the Care.com app that if I dont comply with a background check, that I will be locked out of the account (I am not currently paid up). My question is, why is everyone not background checked? Why only the Care Providers?? Also, for the people complaining about getting recurring charges for the membership, you have to go into the setting and check the box for Non Recurring charge. They hide it pretty well, so you really have to look. Go there and change it right after you pay!! You will never be charged again after doing this.

Their business model is basically to get you to sign up for a non-refundable service then refuse to refund once you discover (as you inevitably will- see other reviews) that it is hard to find appropriate well-vetted care through them. Do yourself a favor. Use a local neighborhood networking site and post asking for what you want. I did that through neighborhood FB group and found a great math tutor for my daughter before the Care.com ad even posted. Still out the $100 for my "membership" though, since, like I said, it's non-refundable. Others have noted they'll keep charging you for renewals too. I haven't seen that yet but we'll see...

Heb opgezegd en bevestigingsmail van opzegging. Toch hebben ze een maand later weer geprobeerd om abonnementsgeld af te schrijven. Gelukkig had ik de machtiging bij de bank al geblokkeerd zodat dat niet afgeschreven kon worden. Lijkt op doelmatige oplichting !

I fell for the pay for 1 month trial. I used them 1 time never got a response from the person I wanted to hire and it was because I was not a higher level member. geez.. I thought ok i lost 20.00.. but NO they continued to bill me 3 more times! I tried to cancel..I dare you to easily find cancel or unsubscribe button on their site! So I called my credit card company to stop payments. this has been in dispute for 2 months now. The negative reviews should varify my claim is true. If care . com needs my 60 bucks that bad..and from the negative reviews it looks like they do, then keep it. I will never use them again and I would never refere them! LESSON LEARNED HERE.

Jeg tror simpelthen ikke på at sidde profiler er ægte, det er deres henvendelser ihvertfald ikke. Man ender med at betale fordi det ser ud til en masse har skrevet, eller at en masse har svaret på hvad man skrev til dem. Men det er tydeligt en robot besked og ikke mennesket bag der skriver.
