Angelica
Not as good as advertised
When you are looking for someone to care for a loved one, you need some assistance and depend on sites such as this for help. I signed up a few days ago and made the mistake of taking the three month subscription along with the background check. Nearly 200. I went in to remove my credit card as I did not want to continue. I was finding most people who responded not fittig into the price range I needed. Also my mother had a set back and is still in hospital. Lastly, the corona virus is here and I do not want to interview and bring in strangers to my 92 year old mother's home. In order to remove your credit card from your account, you have to downgrade your account first, without a refund, and then you are 'allowed' to remove your credit card information. Unacceptable!! And if you change your mind within days, shouldn't there be a grace period of sorts? You can change your mind about a mortgage or major purchase within three days, why not Care.com? So I think they are a sham. another thing I noticed people said they had reviews or years of experience and when i went to their profile, nothing listed. My suggestion would be to look somewhere else. Sadly, there are very few choices and we are left to scramble for care for our loved ones.
