Too many scams on the website. This website is impossible to trust...

If you sign up for the basic membership and give them your credit card, they will automatically upgrade you to a $27/mo. Premium Membership without notifying you and start charging your card in perpetuity. When I called them to stop this and asked for a refund. They said they were refunding my credit card (never happened) and downgrading my membership to the free basic (never happened). Don't use this site.

As a nanny I do not pay to post my profile. Impossible to upload my CPR certificate.

Do not use this company. I'd been with Care for quite sometime and was a prime caregiver. With them you ALWAYS have to weed out the bad families. I've gone on quite a few crazy interviews. Plus you get a bunch of scammers too. The thing that really ticked me off is for no reason they terminated my account. I have no reason why I was terminated. They sent a short email to inform me that my profile had been terminated and no reason was given. I have no reason to be terminated! They will not state why either. So if you don't want to waste your money and your time, I suggest going through a nanny agency to find your perfect family or nanny.

Just asked care.com for a refund. Since NJ had a stay at home order do to the pandemic, my wife and I were home and didn’t need a caregiver. Care.com kept charging me $43 dollars a month. So I wrote to them and asked them for refund because of the situation. It would have been for half of March, April, and May ($107 total). They offered me $41. Now I hadn’t been active on the account for a few months be this started, but I was not asking for that because that was on me to cancel. However it was not like I was going to start using it during a pandemic. In such difficult financial times Care.com was anything but caring. They certainly don’t live up to their name. They should change it to just subscription service because that is all they kept telling me. If you join just make sure you cancel right away when you stop using it.

Care.com was rude and discriminated against me. They deleted my profile and all of my hard work that I did to get a decent job.
