Didn’t know I was on auto renew, they charged me then I complained and got a full refund. That was great of them to do.

I placed my request and within 24 hours I had several excellent candidate's profiles that I could review. I hired an excellent Caregiver within 24 hrs. Care.com had previously vetted the candidates and it saved me a lot of work at a time when taking care of my sister was the most important thing. My one concern, and that is why I gave 4 stars is that there is no easy way to stop the app. once we selected a person. I kept receiving profiles and had to respond to all within 24 hrs. Frankly, I did not have time to respond to all of them. I had other priorities at this time. Overall. Great app.

Was looking for housekeeping help. Had two good candidates respond with good offers. Hired one of them. My only peeve was the initial implication of some free initial access, only to find out that ONLY my job submission was free. To see any responses, you must subscribe. Not unreasonable but a surprise.

I signed up for one month to see if I could find a carer. After that month they basically went AWOL never emailing me or trying to help me find someone. And it has occurred to me now that the reason they don’t email, not even marketing emails, is because they hope you won’t notice the $50/mo they keep taking from your payment method. Smells like a scam to me.

We've used care.com to find care for our elderly mother a number of times and have not been disappointed. It's almost like being able to look under the hood of a car and kicking the tires before you buy! Yes, Care.com allows you that much insight! We also love their HomePay.com sister site that takes care of all the payroll over the table! I wish they would also be able to do my office payroll but alas they are only for home care workers. Both have amazing customer service you can talk to. The first time I called in and a person answered, I was shocked as I was waiting for multiple submenus or even AI! Highly recommend!

A lot of the bugs in the app have been fixed, but there still are times when phone numbers don't send correctly. Some parts of having a membership are a bit confusing. I have successfully found numerous jobs, so I would recommend giving it a try.
