This site is 100% fake & a scam!!!! The so called "ads" all read exactly the same and if you look closer it's just the same 10 or so ads repeated over & over. They contact you with FAKE promises of "jobs available" & parents who have "sent messages" - none of which exist - but you don't realise this til AFTER you've paid for their premium service- which is the only way you can see the job offers they claim you have been sent AVOID THIS SITE AS ITS A SCAM AND FRAUDULENT

Fraudulent site. Told me I had applicants for my job and that I needed to upgrade to see them. I did. There were no applications. The site was just pushing old profiles to me and when I reached out the candidates told me they were trying to delete their accounts but couldnt and were not looking for work. AVOID>

This website is a scam. Be careful! Their membership policy is highly misleading and misrepresents what is advertised. If you sign up for one month they still charge you an auto renewal so there is no difference in the type of membership you sign up for. Unless you sign up and cancel your membership that day they charge you a direct debit. They claim this is in the terms and conditions but this should be put in plain sight on their website. SCAM!

So i dont normally do this but i think people should know the type of person that they are hiring in their times of need. My girlfriends dad had a bad fall a little after thanksgiving and ended up in the hospital. He lives with our 17 year old dog peanut, and the 2 of them have lived together retired, for the entire 17 years of her life. Shes never been alone for longer than a few hours at a time. Anyway we live about a 25 min drive away from them, arent alloweed to have animals in the house, and Pop ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks...then he went into a rehab and has been there another 3 weeks. He was already getting older and it was getting harder for him to get around with her so we obviously would hep as much as possible. With him being out for weeks we spoke to him about what was best for peanut and he agreed that we didnt know when he would be home and peanuts current situation wasnt fair to her. For 5 weeks we were back and forth to the rehab in queens, back to oceanside twice a day for a few hours at a clip to spend time with peanut and walk her, living in bellmore, working in levittown. Were devestated seeing Pop in his situation and it was only making Peanuts life harder. His amazing neighbors and friends would help us out also, but she was getting so stressed out from being alone way more than she ever had that she was giving herself stomach issues and diarrhea. We took her to the vet, gave her a plain diet making rife and chicken for her and her stomach issues calmed down, right up until she had ot be alone again. After a few weeks of this is when we reached out to JULIE D. on CARE.COM. (shes also on ROVER, so beware.) We knew that we needed help with peanut and Julies was supposed to be our life saver. She was being paid to come twice a day a couple times a week, and for 2 weeks we paid her to take peanut for 3 days overnight since we worked all weekend and couldnt be there. There was no way we wanted peanut alone for 12-15hours a day, it was just torture. Julie D seemed very nice and helpful and even lived in the same neighborhood, however there were some problems with her professionalism she somehow hides her reviews on the site, only corresponds through text, not the app, and prefers to be paid in cash i assume so theres no way to track it. she sends me an angry text rant 3 paragraphs long when i let her know that my brother was coming into ny last minute and didnt need her to come for a few days. I was in the process of telling her not only would i be paying her forthe time but that id be paying her 20 dollars more per day than was agreed to. i did pay her way MORE than what she would’ve made before, and gave her extra money for christmas totaling $250. In return she failed to give Peanut the medication with which she was tasked to give her in the morning. she failed to replace the gate at the top of the steps so my dog didnt fall down the stairs when she left. she also dropped Peanut OFF AT THE HOUSE for ur 9 HOURS without telling us when we paid for Peanut to be at julies house OVERNIGHT for three nights so she wouldnt be alone. The only reason i even found out is because i had to stop in quick to pick up clothing for my dad, and to my surprise peanut was there! there was no text, no explanation until i contacted her on my own! she touts how honest she is, but she is a nut and not trustworthy. On new years eve, i texted her to let her know i wasn’t going to need her services anymore as i found a permanent home for Peanut- she didn’t even ask where the dog was going before she went on an even worse and hurtful angry unhinged rant. her exact words were, “A permanent place??? Her place is HOME with her owner. Your dad comes back to an empty house. It breaks your heart? So DONT. Your girlfriend and u ..that is SHAMEFUL. Do u know she SHAKES WITH FEAR? do u know how safe when home? HEARTLESS. Shame on u..karma..will happen that place will be found for u when you're old. Not listening to message. Selfish selfish. Terrible girlfriend..terrible. heartless. Thats all u cam do? U can keep her home..no one wants to keep 17 year old dog..shameful!!!!“ HOW CAN ANYONE SAY SUCH CRUEL THINGS!! SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP US!!! we were already devestated!! i told her that the dog better be at the house when i got there and rushed over there. peanut was there thank goodness. little did she know, the dog is going to a happy family that can take care of her better than well be able to, and to make matters even worse, she stole dog food on her way out! these “providers” are apparently vetted, but an additional psychological exam should be issued. she is THE most evil and unstable person i have had the misfortune of dealing with. caveat emptor. this individual watches peoples CHILDREN too which is an even scarier thought. stay far away from care.com so you dont have a horrible experience like i did.

The website showed a promo offer of $34.95 for a quarterly membership (intro period of first quarter and then higher rate after that). I signed up based on that rate. My credit card was charged $74.95. I saw the text alert for the charge right after so I contacted them to let them know the advertised rate didn’t match what they charged. They were 100% unwilling to do anything, simply stating that they don’t offer any refunds as a matter of policy. No adjustment, no refund, nothing despite having charged the wrong amount (and being notified immediately). Ridiculous, deceitful and poor business. I will be pursuing a refund with my credit card company. I’d advise you to think really hard before giving them your payment information.
