Years ago I used care.com and it was a good job source; there was no fee to members looking for work - just to people looking for employees. I have not used the site since 2016 -- and yet, for reasons unknown, starting last fall Care.com charged my card $14.99 per month. I reported it to the bank as fraud and my card was cancelled; however because Care.com is a "legitimate business" and said that they were authorized to charge my card, the bank refuses to get my money back! I am no fonder of Priceline Visa at this point than I am of Care.com. You cannot call Care.com - all you get is a message and then cut off; I did call Priceline Visa and talk to some guy in the Philippines who suggested I call Care.com. So ditching Priceline Visa as well.

Completely worthless app. Never can find jobs, people don't respond, etc. But that's more along the lines of the people using the app. But don't get me started on the company themselves. They have been fraudulently charging my credit card for the premium subscription, even after I cancelled it! Reported to my credit card company who started a claim. Claim got denied because Care.com fought them on it. I'm at a loss. I hate care.com. Never doing business with them again. my credit card company is aware now to immediately disprove charges from this maniacal company!

I have attempted to use this sight a couple times since getting custody of my nephews with no success. I do not get a response or hit on my job post/emails and have yet to hire anyone. My most recent usage I signed up seeking a tutor. I was under the impression I signed up for a 1 time fee for the month. In reviewing my annual AMEX statement I saw I had been charged monthly for the year. I called to get a recording pushing me to the website (so no live customer support). I conducted a chat for the person to repeat the agreement I was aware of at signing up to me over and over. It was obvious this was the only response she was going to give to not have to consider the customer. She was clear I had not signed in or used the services after the month. It was also obvious no hiring took place. I received zero compromise and crappy customer service. $500+ later, no product, and time wasted I have opted to never use or recommend this company.

Joined care.com for free at first, then paid for a three month offer so I could contact possible clients. I had a few enquiries, but the jobs were not suitable. I did contact a number of possible jobs, but none of the advertisers replied. I had no problems cancelling my subscription and then went on to close my account as I didn't want to receive emails.
