Care.com has so many add-ons concerning background checks that I have to wonder if any background checks were performed at all. I really regret the purchase now.

Great start to build confidence with Care.com
Just starting the process but Care.com seems organized and offers a full range of services and fair fees. Caring for a loved one is about as important as anything. The services are plentiful to help assure the best care for your family/friend. The online process and access to many, many capable caregivers with a very wide range of experience/knowledge gives you all the options you need.

They showed that I had 50 matches on…
They showed that I had 50 matches on the basic profile and to message them, I needed to upgrade. As soon as they took my payment, there are now ZERO matches for what I need.

Bait and swich, the website pretends that you will be able to post your job and then accept a caregiver without signing up. You can not. This is deceptive advertising, and is unethical, the CEO Tim Allen should be ashamed of this cash grab on people who need help.

Hi Natasha, We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.
