Used this app one time, 4 years ago and they continue to charge me.
I signed up for care.com several years when I was looking for a housekeeper. I have tried and tried to cancel out my "membership" to no avail. They originally told me I would have to do it on line from a desktop computer. I tried that, again unable to do it, they charged me again, again I try to cancel it out online. Thought I had it completed, only for them to again charge me. I just called them and they were willing to cancel out my subscription, but, not refund my money. This company is a scam, their reviews are awful. I have put the charge in dispute with my bank and have put a 2 year block on them being able to charge me. DON'T USE THESE SCAMERS!!!!

DON'T
DON'T - just DON'T. I found a great home cleaning person but was billed after I cancelled my subscription on their APP. The APP clearly said my subscription was now cancelled. Their email response was that I had to cancel/manage my subscription on my Apple account. I sent back a response only to get an email back stating this matter is resolved. Yes, resolved for THEM. In this way, their APP is deceptive. Poor communication and crummy customer service.

Overcharged!
The company has a page where you can sign up for one month, at least that's what it looks like to any normally intelligent person. And why would you need a continuous service once you found someone. Apparently somewhere in the small print is a clause that this is a monthly SUBSCRIPTION and they start charging! No email on debits, no emails, no nothing. I don't think this is an accepted business practice. I wasn't on the site for ages and was very puzzled on seeing a charge. Finally I figured out I must have signed up at one point. Of course no refunds. I will raise complaints on any possible site.

Basically a scam - does not deliver
They promise to put me in touch with carers but there were only 7 I could contact, most of them were pretty 'dodgy' with no photo or minimal description. One person did get in touch to say they are unavailable, the others simply did not respond. Were they even real accounts or fake accounts to make it look like they can actually provide the service they say they can? Which they cannot, clearly. Definitely avoid, it is a rip off or scam basically.

These people don’t care ! Scam
These people don’t care , why do they even call this site care . Com If your a caregiver do not sign up . You will be treated like slaves by families and care . Com will side with them

Stay well clear
Wish I’d read these reviews first. Had to upgrade to send a request for a sitter. Did so but absolutely no joy at all. There is no way to contact the company. It feels like a con. Do these sitters even exist?

I used subscription for a month
I used subscription for a month, was not very helpful so I deactivated subscription, I saw an automated charge on my debit card, I revisited site and my subscription was off but I deactivated my care.com account altogether, again next month there was charge of 42$, I called them and the most favor they are giving , not to charge me anymore. They did admit the account was closed a month back. They REFUSED TO REFUND ANY AMOUNT.
