Can you give negative stars? I've never been treated this poorly honestly. Had a genuine issue, the rep was short even over chat and then closed the chat while I was in the middle of typing. Started another chat, different rep....same thing. Crazy.

horrible company will charge you money and not deliver services our background checkstopped working and despite having paid for premium membership they are still unable to fix they have no phone support and their chat support is completely useless they know nothing about helping customers with issues.

I paid for a premium membership, but could not message caregivers until they accepted my job. I received acceptance texts in the middle of the night, from people I had not accepted. Was able to connect with one caregiver, so 2 stars. But overall terrible customer service...the chat agent cut off my response box, waited 5 mins, then said "anything else?" and ended the chat! Edit to add: Care just responded to my review of Aug 2023 in March 24. They also had nothing useful to add. My experience has nothing to do with using the app, which works quite well. There system and people, not so much!

If I could give less stars I would. This service is just a money making exercise. They make you sign up to your account without providing membership details and options in the first instance. People can send you messages however you cannot view them until you sign up to their premium membership which I found manipulative. They billed me for two months with (over $80) without making it clear that you sign up for on-going membership when you select the "one monthly payment option." Honestly facebook is a better option than this product.

I am currently using care.com to find babysitting jobs. I have had great success in the beginning. After first month pf being with them I haven't had anything but repeat clients. Which is still better than nothing. Anytime I send a message to a client. It says they are currently not hiring. How am I supposed to get a job if no one on the site is hiring?

If I could give less than one star I would. I paid for Basic care.com. Which as it turns out has yielded me absolutely nothing and no opportunity to get support. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Twice I searched for licensed/bonded housekeeping - it doesn’t exist. This is the most basic starting point. When I tried to chat with them to see how i could apply this basic filter - i was 17th in line. I’ve already wasted enough money/time on them.

If I could rate this company a zero I would. Don't pay a penny to this company for their sham service. I paid $445 for their premium access which resulted in one ad that was closed out prematurely, and scant applicants. Your basically paying them for nothing. They refuse to speak with customers on the phone and will only respond via chat or email. They also refuse to provide refunds. My profile had errors from years ago I could not edit. This has been a nightmare and I'm no closer to finding a caregiver.

My account got disabled nothing. Only thing I can think of was for rating two awful babysitters with a one star. Why wouldn't I? Why shouldn't I? *Would it not help the next family from making the same mistake I did!?* Nothing mean or inappropriate was said either. The site is trash anyway, most of the girls are posing with duck lips 😗 and list their college degrees - which are irrelevant for children/toddlers anyway. They genuinely think they're going to make over $20 an hour to just sit around and it's weird. Then after you set a schedule *and they agree*, not even two days in, they suddenly have recurring car problems, going to school for a few hours, not wearing deodorant IN THIS HEAT??? Like THAT should be on your profile, not your college degrees. And of course my account got disabled after I paid the membership fee ($39.99!!!!!) AND their homepay fee app to pay the sitters (that app itself is a lottttt of fees). UPDATE: I recieved an email from Sterling that a background check was run on me from them - *unauthorized* ! So I called Sterling and they couldn't stop it but verified they have my background check (that I did not authorize or sign up for or agree to - literally did not expect this). Of course the email did too anyway but I wanted to try to stop it. So since sterling could not do anything, I go to Care's customer service chat (they have no number) and the person could not and would not answer me as to why a background check was run on me and why and who authorized it and what for!? And it was more upsetting because the chat representative said if my account was disabled, they throw away the information. So HOW AND WHY was a background check run on me two days after disabling my account. ...I guess I'll never know.
