Chester went above and beyond when helping me

I had a one month premium membership with care.com. Upon reviewing some provider's profiles and trying to connect with them through the system, it became very clear that many of the provider's accounts were outdated. Their posted availability was not current, a few had picked up other jobs and had not yet cancelled their accounts, many folks didn't respond to messages, and one young lady didn't even know that she had an active account and lived 2 states away! In hindsight, this should have been my warning. I cancelled the membership, got an email confirmation of the cancellation (had to ride out the full month) and was assured that I would not be charged again. WRONG!!! They continued to charge my account for months after and when I finally noticed this on my credit card statement and called them, their phone system directed me to their website for assistance. I found the chat feature again and that person/bot did nothing to resolve this issue. The excuse was that my membership was reactivated -- I assure you that I did not do this -- and per their policy, could not issue a refund. I went to BBB to file a complaint and care.com is not accredited. I would absolutely not recommend this service to anyone.

Emma was wonderful. She was very communicative and great with her follow up prior to the booking process. On the day of, she was on time, professional and interactive with my son. She engaged him and got him to do more than I can! Thank you Emma~

I paid your subscription fee only to have an underwhelming experience. For some reason your app and webpage move slower than anything else I've browsed in recent times, so I've burned a bunch of time just waiting for messages to reload. Regarding messages, you've apparently removed my ability to delete or hide messages which are not of use to me so now my inbox is full of junk messages and I have to try to remember which ones are good matches and worth keeping. THere is no explicable reason why I should not control the right to manage my inbox. That in itself is an epic fail by Care.com and a main reason why I will be canceling my subscription. Especially when you pair a cluttered inbox which I cannot cleanup, to the slow performance of your app and webpage...it's a large waste of my time to try and use your service.

tHE PEOPLE CARE SUGGESTED WERE PROFESSIONAL AND THEY ALL KEPT THEIR APPOINTMENTS. iT WAS HARD TO DECIDE WHO TO HIRE BUT MEETING THEM AND COMPARING THEIR BIDS HELPED ME TO MAKE MY DECISION. I WOULD CARE AGAN IF I EVER NEED TO HIRE SOMEONE.

The end result was good. I found two caregivers who will meet my needs. The downside is that I found your website difficult to navigate. I am not that internet savvy and would have like to talk to a person to help me through the process. There was no phone number or address to contact. I am still not sure what "subscription" means or what I have gotten my self into by signing up for three months. What happens next?

I accidentally typed something and didn't even post it. It says flagged. I can't get any help and then they close my account. LITERALLY 1 the same day and I paid for a year membership. It's a serious scam. They steal your money.
