I’ve been involved with caregiving 35 years with infants special needs seniors. Care.com DOES NOT ABOUT care just revenue not the care practices . The policy of at will is a problem no reason yet your California based company charge clients and staff to pay and when you put this guideline violation up on the app you give no real reason of departure. This is the same company with numerous complaints yet they come in our states a manipulate customers on both side of the spectrum. Beware of this company practices. Caregiving is not just my business it’s a passion. These companies are really money driven.

This was surprising easy to do. We posted our babysitting job and had a good response from well qualified applicants and was able to find a person for the job.

Care.com was easy to work with.

Had me vanochtend in een opwelling ingeschreven voor een 3 maandelijkse membership voor 20 euro, voor Hondenoppas. Had het kunnen weten, ik had al geen 1 reactie, terwijl toch veel in mijn buurt.... te laat de reviews gelezen! Gelijk met klantenservice gemaild en ook gelijk Premiumlidmaatschap weer Geannuleerd, wel Weg 20 euro! Nu goed in de gaten houden of ze niet stiekem steeds 20 euro rippen van mijn bankrekening. Gelukkig heb ik een gewone fulltime baan tot mijn 68e, pfffff...

don't have a house keeper.

I needed immediate help with housekeeping, and it was the day before Thanksgiving holiday when house cleaners are booked. A house cleaning company I had called was booked, but suggested trying Care.com, so I did. I was able to find and book someone the same day! The job included washing a lot of dirty dishes piled in the sink and in the dish washer by a roommate that moved out. It was difficult to find a cleaner that would do dishes, but Crystal S. accepted the task and did an amazing job! Without Care.com I couldn't have found sameday help the day before Thanksgiving. Now my son can enjoy his clean apartment and have a Happy Thanksgiving! So thankful for the help I was able to receive from Crystal S. on Care.com!

Customer service is absolutely not helpful. Non-US customer service can only answer basic questions. If you are disputing any transaction, there is no way to get a resolution. I had to raise a dispute through my credit card company. Hoping I get my money back for the background check service doesn't work. Website breaks when it tries to connect to 3rd party who actually does background check.

I was looking for a person to help with medical transport and also to help around the house with things I could not do. There were no transport people available and I received no responses so when I went to cancel the service I was told it was not eligible for a refund. It should say on the site where you choose the subscription non-refundable.
