The absolute worst platform. Zero customer service. Does anyone even work there??? They requested I pay to view profiles, then never verified me (with no reason), then never answered my phonecalls or emails. Do NOT sign up!

So this is why you got rid of the desktop ability to use you? So you could give all your money to elementary kids to color in your app with new colors? We can't use the desktop. We can't see our reviews. We can't update our availability. We can't change our profiles. We can't find out about a job before we accept it (and the details are severely lacking about the pets to know if it's appropriate to accept or not. Why would I use you when there is Rover??). Messaging stinks. We can't review families. We can't run background checks on them. You care very little about us providing all the care - but you have thousands and thousands to change your colors and fonts yet again. THE PEOPLE DON"T CARE. We just want the damn website... sorry, APP to freakin work!

I signed up and began a premium membership as a caregiver/tutor. The whole process was a nightmare. They won’t allow you to do anything on their site it has to be all done on the app which is incredibly dysfunctional! I could never get into my account once signed up without resubmitting my bio EVERY SINGLE TIME. It cost 7$ a month and I didn’t even get to use it. The job posting didn’t have any helpful information like age you would be working with or what the families are looking for. If you are looking for an easy care app THIS IS NOT IT. Save yourself the trouble and find something else. Also HORRIBLE NON-RESPONSIVE customer service while facing all these issues….

This is a recurring theme from other reviews. They try to lock you into a subscription and do not inform you that it is going to recur. The service works to connect with potential care but we didn't find anyone that worked for us and then got a surprise recurring charge that they refused to refund. Good businesses have happy repeat customers and don't burn bridges by charging for unused services. I thought I had canceled already and have not used their service. They don't offer a prorated refund and tell me I'm free to continue using their service that I do not want. I run a business and would never try to take money for unused and unwanted service.

I posted a job for post-opp transportation and immediately had a reply. The syntax felt off, and once they agreed to do the job I never heard back. It was clearly a fake bot account. Fortunately I was able to make other arrangements, but I can't imagine doing this to people who are just trying to find care! I reported the account and wrote a review, but I had to change the wording twice because the site flagged the words "fake" and "scam" as profanity.

UNBELIEVABLE.....Unfortunately, I’m unable to issue a refund of charges you’ve already incurred.? Care.com charges are non-refundable, as stated in our Terms and Conditions. I no sooner wrote an ad ,,,,,,,,that for some reason, did not meet their guidelines. for post surgery care .....I receive a charge for $34,42. Your membership is now active. ........The next notice I get your account has been suspended. ;.......... I didn't even get to use it........ And they're going to charge me the $34.42. and say they can't refund my money when I haven't used it.??? Unbelievable

I thought I was signing up for a 13.99 monthly charge and they billed me for a whole year. I immediately called them but they would not refund my $181.31

Horrible experience! I put up an ad before committing to paying for a plan. I started get 2-3 replies. I was at about 5 replies/applicants and decided to upgrade so I could start reaching out. I contacted one of the applicants and she replied and said sorry, I just looked at the calendar and that is my husbands birthday we will be out of town. MIND YOU THE DATES ARE IN MY POST! How horrible is that. I feel like these are bots to get me to sign up and then of course because a bot can't babysit, once I reach out they "disappear". One of the applicants message was, I am interested, please provide more details! AGAIN, MY POST HAD ALL THE DETAILS! I replied nonetheless, and haven't heard a peep. I sent a number of messages out and no reply. If someone does reply they happen to be on vacation! Really all of the world happens to be on vacation the dates I need care.
