This company presumes to start charging your credit card for absolutely nothing!!! And immediately when you ask for a refund and no longer want anything to do with them, you get an automated answer that states “we do not give refunds”!!!! Ridiculous cause there is no explanation of why they immediately charged 180.00 to my credit card and the another 129.47 within a couple of days without any explanations!! I say Buyer beware of this company.

I posted my requirements and in one day i received 7 qualified responses. The woman I hired lives in my zip code within minutes from where i live and has the resume that suited my needs exactly. I am very satisfied with this service provided by care.com

My experience was great because the caregiver arrived early. I scheduled the night before. She was very professional. She had a calm disposition. She followed my directions. She communicated well with me.

I've tried twice on Care. com so this is the last time I'm giving this a shot......... I I thought we were moving in the right direction to have someone hired and in place and then 2 caretakers "no-showed" on us or cancelled the day she was suppose to start she said she needed more $ after an agreed upon price. Tried to relist the job, explaining what happened, and care.com would not relist because they didn't want the truth out there, because it was viewed as negative. Now they wont respond, list, nor refund my monthly fee.

I signed up for the premium service and the same day they closed my account. There is no customer service and they do not provide refunds.

I can honestly say Care.com is one of the biggest wastes of time I’ve ever subscribed to. The vast majority of profiles on the platform appear to be inactive. You spend time carefully reaching out to potential candidates, only to hear nothing back. In my experience, the response rate is well under 5%, which makes the entire process incredibly frustrating and inefficient. For a paid service, the value simply isn’t there. You’re essentially paying for access to a database that is outdated and unresponsive. The platform does little to ensure engagement or accountability from caregivers, which defeats the purpose of using a service like this in the first place. I’ve had significantly better luck using community-based platforms like Nextdoor and local neighborhood groups, where people posting are actually active and interested in helping. The difference in responsiveness and quality is night and day. Bottom line: this platform is not worth what they charge. Save your time, save your money, and look elsewhere.

paid 45 dollars (service for a month), don't regret it at all. was able to see many candidates' profiles, getting in touch with them was smooth. care.com also provided video call service so i was able to to interview them comfortably. was able to find a very nice babysitter.
