Thank you Cynthia for all your help
It is great that a representative (Cynthia Jasso) emails us to keep the ball rolling on processing the annuities we have. Sometimes we do not realize she has sent us an email and it has delayed the process somewhat. I called the Canvas number but did not reach Canvas, but instead Puritan Life who was unable to help with situation other than to let me know that there are only a handful of people processing stuff. I understand that completely, as a nurse we were always short-staffed. Knowing this has made me more patient with the process than I was originally. The largest frustration I had was not knowing what a "wet signature" is. Had it been defined or explained it would have saved me several days trying to find a bank (which I was unable to find without opening an account) which issued medallion signatures. So my recommendation would be for Canvas to use more simple language for folks, especially since your customers do not get to talk to a live person and have to figure this stuff out for themselves. Also, you ask to "verify email". Have no idea if this feature is working on your website. There is no message that comes up saying one thing or another. Am appreciative of higher rates though and am willing to continue with your company. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and honest feedback. We’re glad to hear that Cynthia’s follow-ups have been helpful in keeping things moving, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding—especially given your perspective as a nurse and your experience with short-staffed environments. We also want to apologize for the confusion and frustration around terms like “wet signature” and the verification process. You're absolutely right—clear, simple language is essential, especially when live support isn't always immediately available. Your suggestion is a valuable reminder for us to make things more intuitive and transparent, and we’re actively working on improvements in that direction. We’re grateful you’ve chosen to work with us and are pleased to hear the rates have made a positive impact. If you ever have questions or need clarification in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we're here to support you every step of the way. Thank you again for your trust and your constructive feedback!
