CALPAK is pure junk.. DO NOT waste your money. If there are minus stars I would give it that. We bought the 3-piece set in January of this year 2022. It was covid and we didn't travel much.. however, I did use the carry-on roller bag pretty soon after purchase. The corners all dented and the paint peeled right off after my first use. Calpak tried to blame the airlines but I proved to them it was just inferior . Then they said they would replace but I needed to forfeit any further warranty.. Again i disputed .. finally they replaced it but very reluctantly and it took a lot of my emails back and forth.. Aggravation. Now it is September and my daughter used the larger suitcase. The suitcase literally fell apart at the seams. She was with a group and her suitcase was the only one that had issues. It was basically ripped along the seams, dented, and not usable. The airlines taped it. She went to her hotel in vegas and immediately ordered a samsonite that was delivered to the hotel, so she can get home. I emailed calpak with photos. They told me bluntly it was not their problem and to go through the airlines. Well, she left it behind and we have nothing. DO NOT BUY CALPAK !! IT IS NOTHING LESS THAN JUNK. GO TO tjmaxx and get one of the unknown discounted brands and it will last much longer. Pure garbage .. I'm out of the money and have useless luggage. This is from Calpak Based on the photos provided, we determined the damage was caused by the airline or transit company. Unfortunately, we only cover defects in material and workmanship, so we cannot accept this under our warranty. I am telling. you the luggage is made flimsy and can't hold up. It was the only one amongst 7 travelers who had any issues. It is just not made for traveling. I am so disgusted with CALPAK.

Their customer service is seriously lacking. I order the Kaya bag and received the Kaya LAPTOP bag, which is a bit bigger. I immediately emailed them as requested letting them know that I really needed that correct bag by the 31st and was told that I could either get a refund or ship a new bag either way I would need to send the wrong bag back, no problem. I emailed them 3 times to confirm that the new bag would be here and when I would receive the shipping label for the wrong bag and haven’t heard anything even when I paid money I have the CORRECT bag.

Never received the bag I ordered even though it says it was delivered to my mailbox. (???) I don’t even think a bag can fit a mailbox. But I don’t have it, I’ve already asked the neighbors, called usps, tried talking to someone in customer service from CALPAK which has been IMPOSSIBLE. Horrible company and customer service. I will travel soon and I still don’t have my bag and worst of all I still don’t have this issue resolved. They don’t even have a telephone number where you can call.

I left a email to the warranty department regarding stitching coming apart on my Kaya backpack which I bought less than year ago and still have not heard back. It’s been more than 5 business days since (August 1 the warranty inquiry was submitted). I would expect better customer service as these products are not considered cheap. Claudia

customer service is bad. We bought a case as a gift the next week they go on sale. Company refused to price match. Companies that care about consumers don't act this way. I am woried about the quality of the product with this poor customer service.

I purchased a backpack which was too small. I paid shipping coming and going!! This site really stinks!! Item not what was advertised!!

This luggage sucks, nothing like the pictures. I paid $615 for luggage I am never going to use. They have extremely poor customer service, won’t even work with me to have my order refunded. I will never give a dime of my money to this company again!

This company unethical. They sent me defective luggage twice, and after me sending them pics of the defective luggage both times, Amanda advised me that the quality control team sent me the best pieces they had, the second time. So this means everything, from that line at least, is defective. Don't purchase the "OH Joy" line, or you may get my returned defective pieces. I can't believe a company would admit that defective items are the best they have. Ihonestly feel like she just didn't want to have the company pay for another exchange, although they were clearly sending me damaged items. It maybe their best is defective like Amanda said. The stitching was also botched on the first set. Also, they won't post my negative review to their site. And beware of companies that don't let you post or review in Facebook. I returned everything. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered and see whether or not they try to play with me when it comes to my refund. I video recorded myself packing all their brand new crap back up for return. If they try me, I know how to contact the Better Business Bureau. I don't have any faith or trust in this company, as they kept sending me defective items and acted as if I was the one with the problem. The response I received after I sent pictures of the second set of defective items to Amanda: HI Marjani, Our QC Team sent the 2 best pieces that they could find, so the best option is to probably move forward with a return and refund.
