I have hesitated to write this review, but I have to do it. I purchased a front pocket carry-on, the Luka Soft Sided carry-on. The first time I used it, I struggled to fit my computer into the front pocket, and it's so cheaply made, that it just pulled away from the seam and tore. I was in touch with customer service, I took pictures, and after speaking to several different people, one said that they would take it back and refund me, and then the next person said that they couldn't. This was so upsetting, and what was once one of my favorite companies, is now someone I'll never order from again.

I bought a Hue carry-on suitcase approximately 2 years ago, of course it's right outside the warranty. I used it three times for regular trips and I pulled it out for the 4th and the wheel is jammed and won't move anymore. I contacted CalPak about a replacement wheel or some kind of assistance and they told me to go to a luggage repair shop. I had originally researched Calpak and had picked it for its supposed quality and good price. Absolutely disappointed with the non-customer service and their suitcase that didn't even last honestly two years. I have bought several items from them, but they have now lost a customer, and I regret the money I've spent there.

I’m writing this while traveling. The bag I purchased is just so uncomfortable. I usually use backpacks and thought I’d try something new. I’m suffering through this entire trip. Just buy a backpack. It was so expensive and I’m thinking of just leaving it somewhere . The bag itself weighs a bit and with things in it it’s just terribly uncomfortable

I ordered their yoga mat gym bag a while back and right away noticed that the bag is loose and almost flimsy, like it had been stretched out as a used bag by the previous customer who returned it, even though Calpak sold it to me at full price as though brand new. I especially noticed a DISGUSTING STENCH in the bag like old, wet gym socks all over the inside and in the separated shoe compartment. I even tried to mask this by throwing in a loose piece of paper sprayed with perfume to keep inside. Did not help. Calpak responded to my bad review and offered to either refund or replace the bag. I made sure to be clear that I wanted an actually brand new bag, not a used one, and that I was not going to pay the return shipping fee to send back their filthy product. Interesting thing is that Calpak did not bother make any effort to clarify that "No, we do NOT resell used items as brand new." I now cannot find my original review on their website where I made this complaint several months ago, so I wonder if they took it down. Especially when it comes to items like gym equipment and certain clothing, customers have a right to know that they are being sold used items if a company such as Calpak is going to demand full-price payment. Buyers beware.

I am a current customer, I bought 4 Luckas bags, one of wich has both zippers broken. I sent a email with photos for the warranty claim over 3 months ago, but nobody has responded. There's no customer service phone number to speak with a human being. This is the worst service that exist.

Purchased the Jen Atkin Trunk for about $300. That’s a little too expensive to break in -3 years for me when there are other luggages for less than $200 that last a lifetime. Never again.
