Had a throat infection similar to strep that caused a very inflamed tonsil that was starting to obstruct breathing and was extremely painful. As someone that doesnt use medicine unless calculated as absolutely neccesary, I knew I needed to start antibiotics ASAP. I filled out the form and took pictures of the throat area. Requested Amoxicillin antibiotics. Had a CallOnDoc doctor review the case and prescribe the requested antibiotics to my local pharmacy within 2 business hours. Since my situation was worsening quickly, I decided to go to an urgent care anyway after receiving the prescription. Strep test ended up being negative. The doctor on staff said the Amoxicillin was a great choice and that it was goos that Ive already started it. The doctor then also prescribed steroids for the severe swelling. Symptoms cleared up within a couple of hours. Its nice knowing that you can quickly and cheaply get antibiotics when you need them. It is to note, atleast in my case: The doctor reviewing your case on CallOnDoc will not give you any feedback related to your case. You simply get an email that your prescription request was approved (or disapproved.) Which, for the low price, was all I was expecting.

I could not be more pleased with this service. I have used it twice in the last year when my primary care doctor was unavailable to me in times of discomfort. Makes me want to re-think priorities.

I typed a very specific question/request in the box that was for exactly that and the Doctor didn't address it in any way. Something as simple as "NO" would've been fine. At least he'd have addressed it. They do NOT file insurance so that's terrible. The worst part is even though they asked what state I'm in they DID NOT GIVE ME A DOCTOR LICENSED IN MY STATE so I couldn't use my insurance to get the $36 medication either. These are things that should be considered by any entity dealing with patient care. I doubt very seriously if I would use this service again.

I had a very positive experience! They are just as thorough as going to the dr.'s office, but they are faster to treat the issue without multiple visits. Definitely more convenient. I didn't have to take time off work like I would going to my dr's office.
