This was quick, easy, and efficient. 3 of us were already being treated for the flu and when our 4th family member came down with the same symptoms, I didn’t want to go back into the doctor. This saved me a trip and we got the medicine that was needed. (When I got to the pharmacy though, the provider somehow held a release date for the next day. Not sure why, but the pharmacist changed it).

It was great answering questions and being able to get something prescribed. The only issue I had was that it was Christmas Day, which I knew this was gonna be an issue and I made sure the Walgreens itself was open, but the pharmacy was closed. I guess when they call in prescriptions, they aren’t alerted by that fact, so I could’ve found an open one for them if they needed me to, but I do wish they had that ability. I know I should’ve done a better job at making sure the pharmacy was open myself. But it was there when the pharmacy opened shortly after 8 AM the next morning.

The doctor gave me the correct prescription for my illness in a timely manner and sent it to my Pharmacy. I like that the doctor lets the patient choose which antibiotic they want for their care. Great job !
