My first time using Callondoc and I’m very happy with them!!
My first time using Callondoc and I was amazed how fast and easy it was! I was suffering with an UTI and my primary Dr retired and his replacement would not refill the antibiotic my primary had me on when I would get one without coming into the office. I’m 82 and unable to drive anymore and have to get my daughter to take off work for all my Dr visits, getting my Rx’s etc. I was told about Callondoc and was skeptical at first but decided to try. I am so very pleased with them and will now be using them for my needs. They had my Rx called in within two hours and my daughter was able to pick it up when she got off her teaching job. I get the UTI’s frequently due to my age and other health problems and it was so convenient for me for the past few years to just call my primary and he would call my antibiotic in. He knew I could tell when I had one. So, I feel very blessed to have found Callondoc and am a happy ole timer!!!!

They're a mixed bag tbh
They're a mixed bag tbh. Sometimes the process is easy and you get what you need, treatment wise or with prescriptions. Other times you have to fight them for a refill for over two weeks on a script you've been on for 8 months (like GLP-1s). It's mind numbing how they have zero patience to read what you write some times, it's a critical part of any refill or medical exam imo- I sort of wonder if these providers are even native English speakers or what. It's honestly why I avoid walk in doctors, it's 100% the same so you cannot fault callOnDoc for that, it's just how the medical industry is these days. So, pay your $45 quartery membership like I do and hope for the best or fork over the $350 to a real walk in doctors office (each time) and hope for the best there as well. Either way most of these "medical professionals" don't' listen to people or do what you pay them for imo.
All that said, then these people are on top of their game, the service is great. A real good concept. But ffs when someone says they have been in treatment WITH YOUR COMPANY for almost a year- and have the proof in YOUR RECORDS, DO NOT try and start a new treatment w/ a new drug then drag feet.... just refill the damn prescription like the patient REQUESTED AND PAID FOR! It's easier and wastes so much less time!! Which means more profit for them and less headache for us as customers. Oof.... seems so easy right? Like making a cheeseburger, which is still so hard for some places to get right! Makes no sense.

Hello Shaun,
My name is Kaye, one of the support staff at CallonDoc. Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience. We truly appreciate hearing both the positive and challenging parts of your interaction with our service.
I’m very sorry to hear about the frustration you described, particularly regarding refill requests and feeling that your concerns may not have been fully acknowledged. Patient safety, health, and clear communication are always our top priorities, and we understand how important it is for patients to feel heard and supported during their care.
For privacy and security reasons, we are unable to discuss or confirm any specific medical information publicly. In general, treatment plans and prescription refills must be carefully reviewed by a licensed medical provider during each consultation. Even if a medication has been used previously, providers are required to reassess a patient’s current health information, symptoms, and medical history to ensure the treatment remains safe and appropriate before issuing a refill.
We also want to clarify that we take concerns about communication and the patient experience very seriously. Feedback like yours helps us identify opportunities to improve our processes and ensure that patients receive attentive and thorough care.
At the moment, we were unable to locate an account that clearly matches this review, so we would truly appreciate the opportunity to look into this further and assist you directly. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our support team through the patient portal so we can review the situation and help in any way we can:

FIVE STARS*****
FIVE STARS*****. I had a UTI and within a couple of hours, my local pharmacy had my prescription. I am sure if I had wasted my time at the urgent care, I would have been exposed to a bunch of germs and it would have cost alot more and taken much longer! Thank you!

Submitted a visit for strep throat as…
Submitted a visit for strep throat as I’ve done in the past (no photos ever submitted) at 4:14pm. Received a message from the provider a little after 5 stating she must have photos. I explained I’ve never submitted photos for this type of visit, we have other children in the household with it, etc. She didn’t respond till almost an hour later (I responded right away) to tell me she needed them to make sure it wasn’t affecting his airway. I don’t know of a parent who would submit an online visit if their child’s airway was affected. I explained more than once our pharmacy closed at 7 as did our urgent care and I would have to travel to both (rural area) so I needed to know if she was not going to process the visit. Finally after almost an hour again of no response I submitted a request for a refund while the visit was still in the pending status to be told almost an hour later again that the provider was transmitting the rx so they couldn’t. This was at 6:54, I didn’t get a treatment plan till 7:15, pharmacy was already closed. Needless to say my son didn’t receive an antibiotic he needed because this was drug out, pharmacy was closed when the provider finally decided to send the prescription (no photos where ever submitted so she could have done this at 5pm when she first sent the message) and it was to late to travel to the urgent care as they where also closed. Very very terrible customer service!! If one provider will process with no photos they all should.

Hi Paula,
My name is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-on-Doc. Thank you for sharing your experience. We truly understand your concerns and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by recent delays.
We’re truly sorry for the frustrating experience you had while trying to get care for your son. We understand how stressful it can be when a child is sick, especially when you are working within limited pharmacy and urgent care hours in a rural area. The delays and back-and-forth during your consultation were not the experience we want for our patients.
Our providers sometimes request photos during certain visits to help ensure a safe and accurate assessment, particularly when evaluating throat infections in children. That said, we understand how the request felt inconsistent with your past visits, and we’re sorry that this caused confusion and contributed to delays in your son receiving treatment.
We are reviewing this case internally to improve how we communicate requirements and handle time-sensitive situations like this.
We also reached out to you through the messaging board in case you need anything further.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to message us anytime:
